What's the difference between the "survey" component and the "in-depth" component?
UCLA Study FAQsFrom the 800 students who participate in the "survey" component, we plan to sample 100 students who will take a different web-based survey during Winter Quarter every year they are at UCLA. This "in-depth" survey will ask more detailed questions about how students spend their time and ask them to describe their feelings and experiences at UCLA in detail (there will be more short-answer and essay questions than on the regular survey, which is largely multiple-choice).
