Yes, although GIF and JPEG files are best suited for viewing on computer monitors. Due to compression, these image formats can occasionally lose unexpected detail or color. Small GIFs and JPEGs are an excellent way for us to preview your document quickly. If you are using a GIF or JPEG file as your finished artwork, please make sure that the image is made to the size that you want to print it and has a resolution of 300 pixels per inch or greater.

When we receive your image, we'll send it to the graphics dept. They will check it our and make sure it's ready to print. If any changes are needed, we'll let you know and recommend any necessary changes that should be made.

The subject in your photo, at a minimum, should encompass 50% of the entire image.If the image does not meet this requirement the quality when enlarged will appear pixelated and blurry. You should also follow the guidelines set below for resolution requirements.

Lots of different things came about different ways. Pushead, who is actually a guy named Brian Schroeder, did most of it, and then Mark Devito came along, and started doing mostly the club art work. Image hosting is not as robust as the Art Case. Also, image hosting is intended to allow members to store their non-art, yet art-related images (i.e. logos, works in progress).

If you right click on the image you wish to send this will bring up a pop up menu, look for properties and click. This will then give you the file size and file size on disk, also what format it is jpeg etc.
