Bandwidth (or monthly transfer) is a metric measuring the usage level of your website. It is calculated on a monthly basis, in Mega-bytes (Mb). Every time someone downloads a 1 Mb file, it consumes 1 Mb of bandwidth. If you are given 1000 Mb of bandwidth per month, it means a 1 Mb file will be downloaded 1000 times before your quota is exceeded. When calculating bandwidth usage, everything being uploaded, downloaded and emailed is taken into consideration.

Our co-located servers in our data center are on an un-metered 10mbps connection to the internet. As for the disk space, so long as you follow our TERM OF SERVICE (TOS), we will continuously upgrade our hard drives to meet your needs.

Disk Space" is the amount of space you use on our server. Eg: how big your web site is.... "Bandwidth" is what passes through our server from your web site. Eg: emails, hits to your web site, etc, and all other data transfer.

With the rapid drop in prices for hard drives and optical media, it costs much less to store documents on an imaging system than with paper. A single page typically occupies around 50KB of disk space if the image is stored in TIFF Group IV. Each gigabyte (GB) of storage space (which costs only a few dollars) will hold approximately 20,000 pages.

The AltME program is only .5 MB, so it is fast to download and takes very little disk space. Each world will also require some disk space, but most worlds rarely use more than 1 MB. We think AltME would be terrific on cell phones, and we hope to add that feature just a soon as possible.

It is NOT possible for any Web Host to provide you with unlimited bandwidth. The hard-drive on your Hosts' web server has a finite amount of disk space. There is no such thing as "unlimited". When other hosting companies says that they are providing you with "unlimited bandwidth", what "unlimited" means is that they think you won't go over a certain amount of bandwidth, so the limit that they set will be more than enough for you.

The size of a capture file will depend on several factors. The main factors are the screen size; whether video is captured; whether audio is captured; the size of the video image and its quality; the quality of the screen capture; the amount of on-screen activity and the nature of the information being displayed on the screen. An average capture of screen, video and audio will be between 2 ? 5 Meg a minute.
