The Department of Radiologic Sciences does not have a minimum ACT requirement for application to or acceptance in the program; the ACT is simply one of several factors in the decision-making process. If individual scores for Math, English and Natural Science on the ACT are below 18, it is strongly advised that the test be retaken.

If you apply with AP scores, you have to have certain AP exams. If you apply for the BBA with AP results, you have to have the AP exams in English Language and Composition, a foreign language, Calculus AB or BC, Economics (i.e. Microeconomics plus Macroeconomics).

Regarding the GPA, GRE and TOEFL scores, there is no rigid minimum cut-off score for admission to the program. The GRE score and the GPA are considered together along with all information in the application. However, an applicant with a combined GRE score of at least 1050 with at least 550 on the math portion would have a reasonable probability of admission as a Master's applicant, assuming that the student's other credentials were in order (1200 and 650 for Ph.D.).

Students who wish to transfer from a Master's to a Doctoral program must have completed one year of study in the Master's program with a First Class average in 18 credits, of which at least ten credits must be at the 500 level or above and at least ten credits must be at First Class standing. A transfer from Master's to Doctoral degree, for example, would only be recommended in very exceptional cases. The student must show clear evidence of research ability.
