Yes, we term these as 'special flights'. You can fly with one of our instructors to various destinations around Peninsular Malaysia, some aerodromes not even accessible by commercial airliners. Or you can simply choose to take a quick joy flight around KL city and its surrounding towns.

A charter flight is generally an aircraft chartered by a holiday company, and may operate once or twice a week to various destinations. Most of the seats are sold as part of a package including accommodation sold by the holiday company, but many holiday companies now sell some of the seats without ground arrangements. A scheduled flight is operated and marketed by the airline in its own right, to a regular, published schedule.

Meals on charter flights are optional and therefore will not be included in charter flight prices, unless departure is within 8 days, when a meal is compulsory. If a meal is included in the price, this will be clearly shown when making a booking on the site. Meals are included on all long haul flights. Meals may be pre-purchased by paying a meal supplement when booking through the Avro website or direct with the Avro Reservations department.

Charter airlines are usually more restrictive when it comes to the weight of your baggage. You may be able to pay extra at the airport to increase your allowance, but this can be expensive. Baggage allowance is restricted to 2 pieces per person (20kg per piece) plus one piece of hand luggage weighing no more than 5 kg.

Well really the short answer is not a lot if travelling short haul, but on a par with the likes of easyjet or Ryanair. Typical charter flight seat pitch is 28" and the food served, if any, is at the discretion of the company chartering the aircraft, not the airline. Charter flights are cheap so don't expect frills and extras. Long haul charter is a little better but do not expect schedule airline seat pitch or service.

To make the travel experience as comfortable and stress free as possible, we prefer to use scheduled flights. Charters suffer a higher risk of delays and cancellations and many of the flight timings operate at unsocial hours. Scheduled flight timings are generally more social (always important where children are involved), have more legroom and always take priority over charters.

Cabin charters are bookings for individual cabins aboard a vessel with fixed itineraries and fixed departure dates. At this time, Zephyria Yachting does not offer cabin charters.

You can charter a boat for a full-day (23 hours, 9 am to 8 am next day) at any time. We also offer a special “Weekender” charter that allows you to have the boat from 4 pm Friday to 8 am Monday. Half-day charters (any four-hour period) are available on weekdays year-round and weekends November through March.

We do not accept bookings for any children travelling alone under 16 years of age on the date of travel unless accompanied by an adult aged 16 years or over. Minors and young people travelling without their parents may need to carry documentation giving legal consent of the absent parent(s).

This depends on the size of the batteries and the servos you run. I get 8 flights at 12 minutes each doing 3D flying on my 4.8V 4 cell Nicd battery pack that is made of 1700 mah 'A' size cells. I use three Futaba 9202 servos, one Hitec 525, and one Futaba 9253 digital servo. If you use all digital servos then 3 to 4 flights would be normal. Note: If you have tight links or an incorrect radio setup that allows the servos to bind then you will greatly reduce your flight time.
