AutoAnything is aware that many vehicles these days come with dash kits inside, but generally not as much wood or carbon fiber as our customers would like. We have therefore created "Factory Match" dash kits that are made to compliment the existing dash kit in your vehicle. We cannot guarantee an exact match due to the fact that not all trees look exactly alike, but they are extremely close and most customers are extremely satisfied with the match.

Many vehicles come with partially installed factory wood. When looking for a dash kit for your vehicles model, you will see the Factory Match kits that are especially designed to complement the existing wood in your vehicle. We will provide you with the closest match to your original wood dash.

No, we do not recommend this. We recommend you get a "Factory Match" kit to complement your factory installed wood dash (if you are not sure if your vehicles wood is factory installed, ask your dealer)

Yes you can. Keep in mind, most factory wood dash trims are molded so small areas of the original wood dash trim may be exposed.

We have some kits available as a supplement to factory installed wood trim. These additional pieces are made with what we label "factory match". These pieces add to but do not replace existing wood trim. It is important to note that these kits are manufactured to complement factory installed trim, not aftermarket trim installed for or by the dealer. If you are not sure if your trim is factory installed, check with your dealership.

Some vehicles may, or may not, come with certain options. This requires us to include pieces that can be used in the different variations that are possible for that particular vehicle. You use the pieces you need and discard those that you don't. This way you get consistent color and grain patterns, since we make each kit from one piece of wood.

Most vehicles, with integrated in-dash CD changers (all one unit) typically are NOT compatible because there are no options for an additional external CD changer, therefore there is no place to plug in iCruze. If your vehicle does have an option for an additional external CD changer (i.e. trunk mount), or your vehicle has a separate in-dash CD changer mounted in a separate slot from your main stereo, and can be unplugged in favor of an additional external CD changer (i.e.

The best way to care for your wood kit or carbon fiber kit is to keep it out of the sun as much as possible. AutoAnything recommends a UV Shield for the ultimate protection. If you do not have a UV shield, try park in the shade as much as possible. If you spill on the dash kit use a damp cloth and water to clean the kit.

Not exactly. Factors such as the age and the cut of the wood affect the coloring. We will make every attempt to match the existing floor using stains and dyes. Very few repairs are discernible after the finish ages a few years.

No one can match finishes exactly, but an experienced professional with a good eye can get very close. For best results, consider refinishing the old floor with the same finish and sheen as the new one. Although wax finishes are easier to match, keep in mind that polyurethane finishes provide more protection than wax in kitchens.

Although color is a very personal thing, we do have general recommendations. Grey interiors look very sharp with a Rosewood Dash Color Finish, while Tan interiors are very well suited to the Burlwood Dash Color Finish. This is not to say that there aren't gray interiors that look amazing with Burlwood Dash or Tan interiors that don't look great with a Rosewood Dash. A popular option these days is the carbon fiber dash kit.

Yes you can. Your user created keywords are stored in the KeywordsMyKeywords.kw file. Copying that file to another machine will allow you to get to your user created keywords. We do not recommend copying over other keyword files since most are system specific. Also be aware that if your user keywords call installed applications that are in different folders in those two machines, the keywords will not work in the copy until you set the right path.

The antenna must be placed on the exterior of the vehicle to ensure optimum performance. Being that GPS is a line of site satellite system, any obstruction between the antenna and the satellite will interrupt the signal and degrade performance. Just place the antenna on the roof, run the cable through the door and tuck the wire behind the seat and out of the way of the driver.
