The Richmond Police Department no longer issues concealed weapons permits. By agreement, applicants are now referred to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office for concealed weapons permits (925-335-1500).

To be eligible to apply for a Washington State Concealed Pistol License (CPL) at the Renton Police Department, you must be at least 21 years of age, a U.S. citizen, and reside within the city limits of Renton. Payment of fees are due when you turn in your application. The fees are non-refundable if your application is denied. A CPL (if issued) is valid for five (5) years from the date of issue. Once the permit is approved it will be mailed directly to you.

Dallas County Citizens may apply for a concealed weapon permit between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday. In any case when the sheriff refuses to issue a certificate of qualification or to act on an application for such certificate, the denied applicant shall have the right to appeal the denial within thirty days of receiving written notice of the denial. North Dakota has reciprocity with some states. Reciprocity means a North Dakota concealed weapon permit is valid while in those states, and permits from those states are recognized as valid in North Dakota. A gun is considered a weapon even if it is not loaded. It is often difficult to distinguish between loaded and unloaded guns. In the interest of safety the law makes carrying a concealed weapon (that is to carry a gun that is hidden from view) a crime even if it is unloaded. A criminal battery is defined as the unlawful application of force to the person of another. A hit, punch or kick is not required just an offensive touching of another is considered a battery.

The first step is the Basic Personal Protection Course, which takes eight hours. This is normally done in two four-hour sessions on two days. The cost for filing a new permit is $81.00 cash if the Sheriff's Officer notarizes the request, and $79.00 if you have someone else notarize your form.

According to RSMo 571.030, any individual, with or without a valid concealed carry endorsement, over the age of twenty-one may transport a concealable firearm that is otherwise lawfully possessed in the passenger compartment of a motor vehicle. Like most states, Florida does not register guns, or license owners. If you intend to carry a gun for protection off your property, you should obtain a Florida Concealed Weapons License.
