On certain dates each September, we will arrange for a free coach to pick up our international students from Heathrow airport (London) - details will be on the website nearer the time at www.dmu.ac.uk/oriention. Otherwise, public transport networks from all major airports to Leicester are good (coach or train) - most airports have onward travel advice available and/or you can book tickets in advance on the internet. If you need help or advice with your travel arrangements, just ask us.

The airport is in the outer North -Western suburbs of Melbourne. The campus is in the southern suburbs of Melbourne. It takes about an hour to travel from the airport to the Campus.

Once at Heathrow airport, you can take the U3 bus at Terminal 2, which takes you directly to the Brunel University Uxbridge campus. The buses are red in colour. You can get a taxi and ask for Brunel University. The journey will cost about £15.00 and it will take approximately 15 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you at the Cleveland Road entrance which is next to the campus.

Passengers arriving at North terminal at Gatwick airport but requiring the South terminal should use the free transit train to travel to the South terminal. The journey time between Gatwick and Heathrow airport is approximately 70 minutes but could be longer depending on traffic. Coaches run from 04:40 to 22:10 seven days a week and run every half an hour. A single adult tickets costs £18 and can be bought from the driver. National Express coach company run 28 direct services each day between Stansted and Heathrow airports. Services run every 45 minutes. The coach station is located directly in front of the terminal building. A one-way adult ticket costs £20.50. Once you reach Heathrow, you can get off the coach at the Central Bus Station for Terminals 1,2 and 3. You can then take the U3 bus from Terminal 2, which takes you directly to the Brunel University Uxbridge campus. The buses are red in colour.

Yes, there will be bus service from Port Columbus Airport on Thursday and Sunday. Be sure to check off which bus you want a seat on when you register for the event online at www.elca.org/gme. There will be no GME shuttle service on the other days. A nominal fee will be charged for this service.

You can reach campus from the airport by taxi or the public bus system (COTA). At Port Columbus Airport, follow the ground transportation signs near the baggage claim area. Taxis and vans will be parked near the door. The fare to OSU is approximately $25 (Ask about the fare in advance.) From other locations, call 444-4444 for taxi service. Taxi drivers expect a 10-15% tip. Payment in cash is required. Some taxis can accept Visa/MasterCard payments.

Airport - The Campus Village is about a 20 minute drive from the airport. However there is also a frequent bus service which takes you to Buchanan Street Bus Station. The campus is then only a 10 minute walk away from the bus station. Train Station - Both Central and Queen Street Railway Stations are within a 10/15 minute walking distance of the Campus Village, or alternatively a short taxi journey of c. 5 minutes.

Orlando Executive Airport (ORL) is located near downtown Orlando, but is a general aviation airport and is not served by commercial airlines.

They will have a board with your name on it and they will be waiting for you at the baggage carousel at the Domestic Terminal (either Brisbane or Gold Coast Airport). With the Brisbane International Airport when you come out of the arrival hall, to the left you will be met at the Pre-Booked Ground Transport area.
