Announced December 2006, The Sims 2 Seasons is the 5th expansion pack for The Sims 2 series. This expansion doesn't just add the popular community request of weather to your sims everyday lives, now they can experience all the seasons (or only some of them if you choose) in any order you wish. Perhaps you want your sims to live in perpetual winter, or maybe you'd prefer them to have two seasons of Spring followed by two seasons of Autumn, the choice will be yours.

It's the latest simulation game of Maxis, where you can manage virtual people. Build their houses, choose their look, make them happy or not. First of all, the Sims 2 has just been released. Second, it takes time to figure out the code, which is far more complex than the first game. So, currently, while our greatest minds sift through the code, there are no Sim 2 objects yet - they haven't been created and there are no tools yet to do so. We've made several changes to the career game. First, as your Sims progress though their career tracks, they will have access to different clothes to show off their career levels. In addition, if they make it to the top, not only will they have "styling new threads," but they'll also unlock a special career object. No, the game is completly new, it's not an expansion pack. Clothes or furniture of Sims 1 can't be used in Sims 2.

Some video cards may not support a higher resolution for The Sims 2 Seasons, however there are steps you can follow to allow for a higher resolution in the game. Note: The steps below will alter the original game files for The Sims 2 Seasons. If you should encounter an error after altering this file you will need to revert to the backup version of the file, or uninstall and reinstall the game.

No you don't. This is one of the more wrong rumours out there. The two games are independant of eachother. Firstly, the current tool that we are working on creating for actually modifying the formats of the game, Datgen, was primary designed for Simcity4, and so a lot of work also goes into making it compatible with SC4's formats in addition to TS2s. So you will be able to use it for both games, as well as The Sims Online, and any future Maxis games using the DBPF archive format.

Right now, The Sims 2 Mobile can only be purchased through selected carriers. Please check with your cell-phone provider to see whether or not The Sims 2 Mobile is available. Absolutely not. All versions of The Sims 2 Mobile are meant to stand on their own.

To check your game options. Start up your game and go to a neighborhood screen. From the options wheel in the lower left corner, select the (...) icon, then the gears icon and make sure you check "On" in the Catalogs Display Custom Content area. Once you've done this restart your game and all of the things that you've installed should appear in the catalogs in the game.

Stagecast sims cannot be played stand-alone. Users can either play the sims online using the free Stagecast Web Player or on their computer using the Stagecast Creator or Player application. If you have a web site, you can post your sims on the site with the help of the publish feature in Stagecast Creator. When users go to your sim's web page, they can use the free Stagecast Web Player to play your sim.

To get rid of plumbbobs, create an extra character for your movie set and keep them off screen. Whenever you're ready to shoot, set up the interactions you want with your Sims and right before shooting, click on the extra character to get rid of the plumbob. If you have the Nightlife Expansion Pack, you can get rid of thought and speech bubbles by pressing Ctrl+shift+c to open the cheat box, and entering showheadlines off.

Keep the camera position low. It helps create a feeling of intimacy in your films to have more up-close shots anyway. There is an object you can download from Mod the Sims 2 that allows you to have ceilings. From above, it's invisible but from ground level will give you a ceiling.

A:With The Sims 2 Mobile Connected Edition, you'll be able to choose your player Sim from among tens of thousands of Sims available on the Sims Exchange. You can do this from the Download-a-Sim options within the game itself, or by browsing the Sims exchange on the Sims 2 website and selecting a compatible Sim to add as your "On-Deck Sim".

Sensitivity is SIMS's major strength. It depends on the element and on the material, due to large variations in the ionization efficiency. The detection limit is very often well below the ppm range.

You can't actually make your Sims talk in the game. What you do for movies, is use a microphone to record your voice saying the lines that you want the Sims in your movies to say. Then, inside your editor you place the file of your voice in the audio track of your editor underneath the clip of the Sims in the scene that those words are being said. That way, when someone watches your movie, it looks as if the Sims are really talking and saying their lines.

There is a bug in Hot Date that assigns the wrong formal hand skin to Sim generated skins. In many cases a Sim Townie and some others will have this skin for formal hands as the default. Maybe they will fix it with the patch when it comes out. (Assuming they are working on one) Many of you have asked about the red X that is displayed for object images in SE Object Manager. This red X simply indicates that there is not a thumbnail catalog image in the file. This does not mean the object is bad.
