If Autoscan cannot pickup a channel, You can interrupt Autoscan by tapping on the screen during scanning and then use CH+ / CH- and then use the fine tune F++ / F-- to search for a channel. If you still cannot find the channel, this means the signal strength provided by the local TV stations is too weak in the area. You will need to connect to an external antenna to boost up the signal.

Perhaps you might have pushed the volume control and activated mute. In the case, you will see a message ??Mute?? on the top of the screen in portrait mode. There is no Mute indicator in landscape mode. Moreover, in the case of the TV CF Card P-01 (PAL version), you might have selected the wrong PAL sound system. The P-01 supports PAL-B/G, PAL-I and PAL D/K sound system. You will need to tap ??PAL Sound?? button to select the correct PAL sound system in your country in order to get the audio.

Windows XP's drivers are basic ones that just allow you to manipulate the desktop (and possibly DirectX also). You have to get updated XP drivers from your card's manufacturer. Riva TNT, TNT2, Geforce cards can try nVidia's Forceware drivers. dfx has closed down. Fortunately, some geeks have hacked (or tweaked) 3dfx's original drivers to make it compatible with Windows XP.

The reception quality is similar to a portable TV and a lot depends on the signal strength provided by your local television stations in the area. Here is a demo video of the TV CF Card at a location where signal strength is strong enough: The TV CF Card is designed to use its telescopic antenna for TV reception outdoors. Good reception generally requires a direct line of sight between the TV broadcast station and the TV receiver.

The Toshiba e800 comes with user selectable Pocket PC standard of QVGA (320 x 240) as well as full VGA resolution of 640x480. However, the TV CF Card can only support the Toshiba in QVGA 320 x 240. This means that you can only get the EOps TV program in full screen view in 320 x 240. If you have setup the Toshiba e800 in VGA mode, the TV CF Card EOps TV program would be shown on the top left hand corner of the screen and occupies only a quarter of the screen.

You can generally watch up to 2.5 hours of TV using the TV CF Card with 4 new AAA alkaline batteries. But the actual performance depends on the Pocket PC model. For all the Pocket PCs that we have tested, the operation life is between 1.5 hours and 2.5 hours, depending on the capacity of the Pocket PC's internal battery. The reason is that the TV CF Card gets its power from both the 4AAA batteries and the Pocket PC.

The Pocket PC operating system is defaulted to turn off the device and screen light if not used for a period of time. To prevent disruption of watching video with the TV CF Card, please disabled these functions in the settings setup of the Pocket PC (please refer to your Pocket PC's operating manual).

Regarding the quality of the output, it depends on the screen of your Pocket PC. But most Pocket PC have transflective TFT LCD screen which means the picture quality is much better than passive STN LCD screen normally used on handheld TV. Moreover, Pocket PC with faster processor can achieve higher frame rate. The picture can be displayed in both portrait and landscape mode at up to 30 frames per second.

Only one port RS232 cards (SSCF-100 and SSCFR-100) can operate at 921.6 kbps. The two port card (DSCF-100) has a maximum speed of 115.2 kbps per port. To configure the single port cards for 921.6 kbps you need to move the jumper, located on the bottom of the CF card (next to the port connector). To configure the card for 921.6 kpbs, move the jumper to the "8x" position.

When monitoring Motorola systems, the radio knows to stop monitoring a transmission and return to the control channel when it detects a series of sub-audible "disconnect" tones. Unfortunately, on some systems, outside interference can trick the radio into thinking it has received these tones. The result? The radio will abandon a transmission before it is completed which can be very frustrating to the listener.

You can fit approximately 32 high-resolution, 54 medium-resolution, or 102 low-resolution images on a typical 256MB card. The actual number of images that can fit on any particular card, however, will vary greatly depending on the photograph subject, shooting conditions and shooting mode (due to the variable compression applied to each image), as well as on the brand and model of CF card.

Formatting a CF card erases all of the data on a CF card, including files, images and directory structures. Formatting a CF card may also repair a non-functioning card with corrupted data. Physical damage, faults or bad sectors cannot be fixed by formatting. It is not always necessary to format a CF card before using it in SD9 and SD10 cameras. It is entirely possible to share a CF card between different types of cameras or applications.

Recording time will depend on both the memory capacity of the Compact Flash card, and the recording format being used. MP3 recording uses less memory on a Compact Flash card than Wav (PCM) recording. Also Mono recording in either recording format uses less memory. A typical 1 gigabyte compact flash card can allow over 35 hours of recording time when set to MP3 Mono recording. The same capacity card can allow over 3 hours when set to PCM Mono recording.

The camera supports high-speed Compact Flash Cards both Type I and II, and Microdrives which gives the user a wide variety of choices in their media. SanDisk and Lexar CF cards as well as Hitachi Microdrives have been tested and are confirmed compatible.

Caution: Use the wiggle function on the Servo before connecting the Servo arm to anything else or make sure the Servo arm wiggle will not affect your setup. Use the Wiggle function provided in the software to wiggle the Servo. The selected active channel is the connected channel. The tops 3 pins (top cover upwards) is channel A and lower 3 pins is channel B.

Most people are diagnosed with CF at birth or before the age of 2. A doctor who sees the symptoms will order either a sweat test or a genetic test to confirm the diagnosis. A sweat test is the most common test used to diagnose cystic fibrosis. A small electrode is placed on the skin (usually on the arm) to stimulate the sweat glands.
