Is there an issue with Internet Partners refusing email from certain servers?? I have a few people who can not email me. In most cases where people are have problems sending you email the senders email server is configured incorrectly, and it can serve as a security risk to everyone on the internet. We at Internet Partners are willing to work with the administrators of these servers to help solve this problem.

AOL will make every effort to deliver a message to your recipient, but does not have any control over a message once it leaves the AOL service. If your recipient is not with AOL, have check with their provider in an effort to figure out what happened to your message. If you are receiving some type of error message in response to your email (examples can be found in AOL Help article "Why do I get a mailer-daemon error?"), look to it carefully for an explanation for what happened.

AOL does not handle multiple attachments per message in a very useful manner. Multiple attachments are combined using MIME encoding. This is most easily avoided by asking your correspondent to include only one attachment per message (using BASE64 encoding) and turn off any additional HTML formatting. Multiple attachments can be safely compressed together, and you can decompress them on your end (in many cases the AOL software will do this automatically).

You can set up a free UT student email account (.edu) by following the directions online at http://mail.utexas.edu/. Once your UMBS account is activated, you can check your email via the web interface at http://webmail.utexas.edu. You can upload your contacts from your email account into your Send and Give address book. Just go into your email account (Hotmail, Yahoo, Outlook, etc) and follow instructions to download your contacts into a .txt, .tab or .csv file. Make sure your domain name servers are pointed to Broadjam's servers. If the problem affects one particular service, then it's possible that there is a communications block between that service and AOL. Try contacting that service's Postmaster to see if they are aware of problems both sending mail to and receiving mail from AOL.
