While a diverse range of applicants is accepts annually into the program, generally, applicants should minimally have a 3.0 overall GPA and 3.0 GPA in the teaching major. Applicants who do not meet this requirement are still encouraged to apply as applicants are considered based on grades, professional experiences, and outlook about teaching.

There is no one type of participant who will be chosen. We are looking for a wide variety of people, from diverse backgrounds, who will bring energy and excitement to the program. All participants must meet the guidelines and have the traits specified in the program Application and the Eligibility Rules sections of this website. In this initial stage of FIT program delivery, a treating body such as government department, insurance or compensation organisation likely funds most programs. Participants will need referral and funding from such an organisation. Contact your general practitioner or health provider to determine what program you may be eligible for.
