This window is for searching within T-Plan. Type a search query string into this field and the results will be displayed in a separate search results window. This window uses the Filter Query Language to search across all areas. It is not connected to the Filter Query Wizard, but you can start up the Filter Query Wizard from a module and then copy/paste the query strings into this window.

Your configuration is incorrect. You must indicate the neighbors of every screen. Just because you've configured 'Apple' to be to the left of 'Orange' does not mean that 'Orange' is to the right of 'Apple'. You must provide both in the configuration.

Because you told it to. If you list 'Orange' to be to the left of 'Orange' then moving the mouse off the left edge of 'Orange' will make it jump to the right edge. Remove the offending line from the configuration if you don't want that behavior.

This is not a standard C++ feature — C++ doesn't even require your system to have a screen. That means every operating system and vendor does it somewhat differently. Please read the documentation that came with your compiler for details on your particular installation.

This functionality is only guaranteed within the SOLO program. Some word processors will not allow for the word window to track depending on how the word processor handles text. A notable application to not have tracking enabled is Microsoft Office XP (2002). Office 2003 is fully supported however. We recommend always keeping your Microsoft software updated to the latest versions through Microsoft update.

Try changing your screen resolution. We have found through testing that a resoluton of 800x600 (or higher) yeilds the best results. If AREIS looks too small, lower your resolution. We have had reports of the map printing poorly. We are not able to replicate this error at our office but are looking into the problem. If you encounter this, PLEASE use the FEEDBACK and let us know the type of browser and printer(also if it is color or black & white) you are currently using.

In another of a long line of Design Decisions I Regret, xv tries to do all sorts of clever things with regard to the image window's position on screen. For example, if you issue the Max Size command, xv will position the window so that the window's contents exactly fill the screen (and the titlebar, frame, etc. are off the edges). Clever when it works, a big pain in the ass when it doesn't.

DOSBox will capture your mouse when you click inside the display window (and you have autolock=true set in the Dosbox.conf). Simply press CTRL-F10 to release the mouse.

You should access the 'Options' menu, then click on 'Format'. In the dialog box that appears, select a larger video size, but don't exaggerate. Click 'OK' to finish. Back to Top

xv, developed by John Bradley, is a full-featured program for displaying and manipulating images in the GIF, JPEG, TIFF, PBM, PGM, PPM, X11 bitmap, Utah Raster Toolkit RLE, PDS/VICAR, Sun Rasterfile, BMP, PCX, IRIS RGB, XPM, Targa, XWD, PostScript (if GhostScript is available) and PM formats. It can also convert between most of those formats. xv 3.10a is shareware for personal use with a suggested registration fee of US$25.

Make the screen resolution as high as you can while still being able to read the texts in the site comfortably. In Windows: Right click on your desktop, choose Properties, and Settings tab. If you have a screen resolution of 1024x768, make it higher -- up to a resolution of 1152x864 or more. Hide the Status Bar (at the bottom of the browser), and/or some options in your Toolbars (Buttons or Address Bar). In Internet Explorer you can find these under View.

In the Windows Desktop mode, Click START, then mouse to "Settings", then click CONTROL PANEL, then click DISPLAY, then click SCREEN SAVERS, then make the Selection (None).

Prior to GLUT 3.7, you can generate a full-screen window using a call to glutFullScreen(void). With GLUT 3.7 and later, a more flexible interface was added. With glutGameModeString(), an application can specify a desired full-screen width and height, as well as the pixel depth and refresh rate. You specify it with an ASCII character string of the form [width]x[height]:[depth]@[hertz]. An application can use this mode if it's available with a call to glutEnterGameMode(void).

The hand-point cursor indicates a hyperlink. Once you click on the link, the target element will be displayed in the element window. You can turn it off by unchecking the synchronize button at the top of contents window. In such cases, you will need to double-click the element before it is displayed in the element window (note that a double click also collapses or expands branches)

These lines are the grade guides, and they assist you in maintaining the Maximum Grade, Minimum Grade, and Maximum Grade Break throughout the design process. The limits for these values can be set in menu View|Profile Options: click on the "+" button beside Grade Guides.

To help the Backpack distinguish instructions from ordinary text, its program looks for an 'instruction prefix' in the data you send it. When you send this character (ASCII 254), the Backpack regards the next byte as an instruction. Instructions correspond to the standard LCD instruction codes, and are listed in the manual. For instance, ASCII 1 is the LCD code for clear screen; so to clear the screen Backpack style, you send two bytes, [254] [1].

On some video cards, Antialiasing causes this problem to happen. Try installing latest drivers. If that doesn't solve the issue, turn off Antialiasing. See previous topic for further details. Your system specs are well below minimum system requirements. Even if you are able to load the sim, gameplay will not be at all smooth and generally unstable. You should upgrade the key components of your system.

The software is design for a screen resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. If your monitor is running at a lower resolution (for example, 800 x 600 pixels) you will need to increase it to a minimum of 1024 x 768 pixels. You can always use the same process to return your screen resolution back to what it was after using the PhotoMax software.

ScreenServer requires that your screen resolution is set to a minimum of 1024 x 768. To adjust your screen resolution settings, go to your Display control panel and click on the "Settings" tab. Then, adjust the slider control for Screen Resolution so that it is at least 1024 x 768.

If the window is a GnomeDialog, this is user-configurable and you should not do it. In most other cases it would be a bit strange; but there are exceptions, such as splash screens. The function you want is gtk_window_set_position(); you can leave the window's position up to the window manager (the default), ask to have it centered, or ask to have it appear wherever the mouse pointer is.

First check your screen display - control panel >>display>>Settings. The minimum setting for viewing the Scenario is at least a resolution of 1024x768 pixels. For those unfamiliar with the setting, you can find it by clicking in this sequence: Start/My computer/Control panel/Display/Settings. On the Settings page, you’ll see ‘screen resolution’.

There is no supported method of doing this, but you can edit the registry to achieve RS in a Window. NOTE that you should not edit the Registry unless you know what you are doing - you can severely affect your system by playing around with the Registry. Backup your Registry before making any alterations. Each time you want to toggle between windowed and full screen mode, you have to always go to windows registry to edit a value (and restart RS).

When Snapz is invoked it will freeze your screen, cursor included. You should however see an additional white arrow cursor. If you do not see this cursor, try hitting the Escape key. You should hear a "bloop" and Snapz backs out. If this is the case for you, you most likely have a conflict with Universal Access. Open Universal Access in your System Preferences.
