Well you can't say you haven't been warned. But most resorts want you to use your vacations and are very flexible. So what I would recommend is to call the resort or cruise line and ask them. They might work with you in one way or another. They may just go ahead and honor it or charge a small fee. It never hurts to ask. But call them first before tossing it.
