Our products are shop sanded and ready for final hand sanding. Many of our customers do finish our products without additional sanding, but for the best results, we recommend some hand sanding upon receiving.

Depending on the area, the finish will be from .0004 inch down to non-measurable. The exterior and internal visible surfaces will have the phosphate conversion coating in addition to the dry film lubricant application. The resulting finish is approximately .0004 inch thick. For blind and close tolerance areas, the phosphate conversion coating with a special corrosion resistant oil will be applied.

It is very easy to clean a Pre-finished hardwood floor. Simply dust mop, sweep, or vacuum (vacuum should have rubber wheels so not to scratch the floor). Most flooring dealers also sell cleaning kits, which come with a mop as well as an approved cleaner. If you are not sure which cleaner is appropriate for your floor, contact your local dealer for assistance.

Pre-finished flooring has a great advantage over unfinished flooring. Both floors install exactly the same, however, once the pre-finished floor is installed you're all done. The only thing you have left to do is move the furniture back into the room and enjoy. An unfinished floor requires sanding and then the application of urethane. This can take an extra couple of days labor with an incomparable amount of aggravation.

As a rule, we will post typed reports to you via the Royal Mail (First Class postage). You can also receive a soft copy by email, and if you require, we can post you a CD or Floppy Disc containing the files. If you wish, the printed report can be dispatched to you by courier, at cost. Occasionally, a business may require an emailed copy of the file for approval, and once they have seen it, we post the report direct to their client.

Yes. Specifically, the blade surface is "prepped"— i.e., sanded, smoothed and polished to remove any surface discoloration or blemishes and provide a smooth, shiny finish.

We do not treat or finish our siding with any sort of a protective sealant at the factory; however it is very important that you do this upon applying the siding to your home.

They will be in a digital form, of course, and the file format can be JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PDF, or perhaps some other graphic format if you wish. If you are to receive business cards or greeting cards, then I can either mail them to you, or you can pick them up if you live in the Williamsport, Pennsylvania area.

Forwarding of finished work will be done according to the client's preference. The choices are: Encrypted e-mail, Downloaded to FTP site, Fax, Courier, or Postal Service. In British Columbia, we can use Medi-tran Services to deliver directly to medical offices.

This is a little complicated. Technically, a finished product is a derivative work and no amount may be sold without permission from the copyright owner. However, in real-world terms, if you make one item of something and then get tired of it, most designers would give permission to sell your finished work. This also applies to store models.

For most work, once you have paid our fee, the copyright is yours. If you want to formalize your copyright, we can help with that too. Some of our documents are drawn solely from our own document library, and we retain any copyright previously asserted. In these cases, by paying our fees you are buying the right to make prescribed use of the document. Of course, this issue can be discussed and negotiated.

Again, this depends on you. The canvas is not indestructible, however I have floorcloths and murals in my gallery that are eight years old. So if you take care of them, they can last a lifetime. You can sell the finished mural or floorcloth to clients, in your store or gallery or on your web site.

Answer: We are a custom home and design build company and therefore, seldom build "spec" homes or models. However, after we meet with you and are made aware of the size and style of home you are looking for, we will make arrangements with our past clients to allow you to tour their home to see the finished product. Most clients are very proud of their Coplen home and have been very accommodating to show it off.

Our standard finished edge profile included in all base pricing is a basic "eased and polished" straight edge.
