ION Storm was a game developer founded in 1996 that released four games before being shut down. Their games were called Dominion: Storm over Gift 3, Daikatana, Deus Ex, and Anachronox. The Deus Ex developers stayed together, renamed their studio, and are now working on a sequel.

Several places will have storm information. The local National Weather Service office in the area of the storm conducts damage surveys from severe weather events. Fortunately we have never had a really bad storm at sea aboard Ventana. On a previous trip with a large crew on an 80' boat we experienced several days of 40-50 knot winds and seas of over 25 feet. On Ventana we have sailed a number of times in 30 knot winds and 12 foot seas and a few times in stronger winds for short periods.
