Please note that you must take a full course load (whether law only, management only or combined) and a maximum of 12 RSM credits can be transferred back to the Rotman School towards the MBA graduation requirements.

In light of the fact that J.D./M.B.A. dual degree program applicants will not be notified of admission decisions until after the Spring Competition concludes, applicants to the dual degree program will be permitted to participate in the Competition that is held for transfer students during the first week of the Fall Semester.

Part time students may participate on an exchange, starting in Term 5 of their studies, as long as they fit the eligibility criteria and have completed all required core courses (1000-level courses) in Terms 1 through 4. Part time students can still participate on an exchange as long as they fit the eligibility criteria, and have completed core 1000-level courses.

We have joint degree programs with many of the extremely high caliber UCLA graduate schools. Generally speaking you must apply to both schools and be accepted to both. The London Business School International Exchange, run by the full-time MBA Programme Office, is open to Executive MBA students. Students study full-time for one term at one of over 30 partner schools. EMBA students usually take approximately three months of extended leave from work to participate in this scheme. Yes. Current Cornell LL.M. students must submit a transfer application no later than April 1st. The transfer procedures and requirements will, in general, be the same as those applied to J.D. students at other law schools who seek to transfer into our J.D. program, except the LSAT is not required. If there is room in the J.D. program, the Admissions Committee will admit students when their grades in our LL.M.

The requirements generally are the same -- completion of all first year JD courses, the professional responsibility and upperclass legal writing requirements, and the JD residency requirement. Typically, a JD student needs 85 credits to graduate. However, 6 or 9 credits of masters coursework (depending on the program) will be counted toward those 85 credits.

MBA students and other interns can be a valuable resource to the nonprofit organization engaging in enterprise creation. The contribution of these folks is greater than simply that of conducting a particular project or task. In our experience, the presence of MBA students can help provide an “outside perspective” on the work.

Starting every two years an MBA course is offered as a part time program taught in German language. Target group are managers and specialists in logistics functions with a minimum of 3 years work experience. The program has a clear regional focus and is mainly of interest to Germans or candidates from German speaking countries. The next course starts in the summer 2008. Yes, courses in contract and business management subjects that are in excess of the 24-semester hour requirement can count toward the 120 CPE hours. For a list of acceptable subjects, please refer to www.ncmahq.org/certification/docs/CPE_Requirements.doc. Copies of transcripts or certificates of completions are preferred. For Study Groups and other NCMA meetings, letters from chapter officers are acceptable.

Based on permission being granted by the Dean, you may have to first finish one, then come back a third year for the second one.

Provisional admission into the MBA program rarely ocurrs. If it does occur, individuals with cumulative g.p.a.'s of 3.0/4.0 or higher and with high grades in their undergraduate quantitative/analytical coursework are considered for provisional admission. Having a 3.0/4.0 cumulative g.p.a. does not guarantee admission into the MBA program. Individuals are considered on a case by case basis only. Provisional admission is valid for one semester only.

A Full Time student takes a minimum of 3 classes while a Part Time student takes no more than 2 classes per semester. Upon acceptance into the MBA program a student must declare their intention to be a Full Time or Part Time student. Each student will be coded as such, however a student can switch from one program to the other by notifying the University graduate office and the MBA office as well.

exchange program is a formal agreement between universities or colleges that enables you to spend a semester or two abroad. Although UNF students can study abroad at other universities, participating in one of our exchange program simplifies the process in several ways. First, because the faculty at UNF and the partner institution know one another, exchange students are treated with extra care. Exchange students are selected by their home university to take part in an exchange programme, based on an agreement with Linköping University. For information on exchange programmes and agreements, as well as on admission and application, students should thus contact the international studies co-ordinator at their home university.

Students who want to go for exchange programmes have to complete at least 2 semesters of full time study in NTU before applying. Priority will be given to Singaporeans.
