You use the pieces you need and discard those that you don't. This way you get consistent color and grain patterns, since we make each kit from one piece of wood.

I use a 10" sliding compound miter saw for about 95% of all my segments and I use a table saw for large compound miter joints. Precise milling of the boards prior to cutting segments is essential. Even with perfect miter cuts, I use a disc sander (20" or 12") with a sanding jig to erase any saw blade markings on the majority of all segment ends prior to gluing.

The first decision is whether you want a Classic Dash Kit or a Molded Dash Kit. If you look at the two dash trim kits above you will notice that the kit on the left has a curve that wraps around the dash. This is a Molded Dash Kit.

There are no tools required, and you don't even have to lick the back of the dash kit pieces. The best way to care for your wood kit or carbon fiber kit is to keep it out of the sun as much as possible. AutoAnything recommends a UV Shield for the ultimate protection. If you do not have a UV shield, try park in the shade as much as possible. If you spill on the dash kit use a damp cloth and water to clean the kit.

Since, this is a professional challenge, you can add however many (and from wherever) Lego products they want. On the site, a question was posed whether the ball had to be touched to knock it over and the answer was the ball did have to be touched specifically, however, it looks like some are just knocking over the column. Yes, the guidelines have been modified to only require the ball be knocked off, not actual contact (unless you want to). It makes it a little less complicated.

AutoAnything is aware that many vehicles these days come with dash kits inside, but generally not as much wood or carbon fiber as our customers would like. We have therefore created "Factory Match" dash kits that are made to compliment the existing dash kit in your vehicle. We cannot guarantee an exact match due to the fact that not all trees look exactly alike, but they are extremely close and most customers are extremely satisfied with the match.

If you can easily slide your finger on your dash and it feels oily that means you have a layer of armor all on your dash. It doesn't matter how strong of adhesive you have it will still not stick. Take a cotton towel with alcohol and deep clean your dash with it. Rubbing each part for 2-5 minutes. You'll need 10 packets of promoter and put a lot of promoter on the area where the dash pieces will be applied. Let it dry.

Yes I can, but keep in mind custom sculpts are very time consuming and thus priced accordingly. To create a new head it takes anywhere from 3 weeks up to 2 months at a cost of $600 to $1000 dollars. You'd be surprised how different you can make a head look by simply changing the way the face is painted, the eyes and the wig.

When a customer purchases a Complete Sign Kit, they receive the sign LED mounting base, mounting hardware, 20 feet of wire, power transformer and a set of instructions. When a customer purchases an Additional Plate Only, they will receive a plate only sent to them.

No. All of our kits are custom cut to fill your order. We begin processing the order as it is received. Once the order has been cut, the product is only useful for your respective order. This is stated in our terms and conditions.

We have some kits available as a supplement to factory installed wood trim. These additional pieces are made with what we label "factory match". These pieces add to but do not replace existing wood trim. It is important to note that these kits are manufactured to complement factory installed trim, not aftermarket trim installed for or by the dealer. If you are not sure if your trim is factory installed, check with your dealership.

Yes you can. Keep in mind, most factory wood dash trims are molded so small areas of the original wood dash trim may be exposed.

Although color is a very personal thing, we do have general recommendations. Grey interiors look very sharp with a Rosewood Dash Color Finish, while Tan interiors are very well suited to the Burlwood Dash Color Finish. This is not to say that there aren't gray interiors that look amazing with Burlwood Dash or Tan interiors that don't look great with a Rosewood Dash. A popular option these days is the carbon fiber dash kit.
