Subversion is one of several revision control packages. It was selected for GNU projects because it's free (speech), free (beer), and very high quality. The Subversion home page has a better description. The "anonymous client checkout" feature of SVN is similar to anonymous FTP in that it allows anyone to retrieve the latest libstdc++ sources.

Network was an organization. It doesn't have much bearing on the comic, because when the comic began, Network had been destroyed... However, it does have impact on the pasts of the characters, so here's a brief rundown. That's the follow up of sorts to the WrestleCrap book. The book looks at both the in front of the camera and behind the scenes happenings that lead to the death of WCW (hence the name). The book will contain a brief history of the company leading up to the nWo angle, but will focus primarily on 1998-2001, the years in which the company self-destructed. This is a letter code that indicates the submodel and year of the bike. "A" bikes are for the US market, B is the Tengai, and C is the Canadian/European model. The number n represents the year of manufacture, with 1 as the first year. An "L" at the end of an A designation means that it is a California bike (with a smog cannister). The first year of the A model was 1987, so an A5L is a 1991 California-spec US bike.

We recommend that you live with ".svn" if you possibly can. However, if you are using ASP.NET under Windows, you might need to set the environment variable SVN_ASP_DOT_NET_HACK, as described here. Fleece can be washed by machine — low temperature water is best. Turn it inside out first, if possible. Allow to air dry (it won’t take long.) Faux fur should first be shaken out, then can be machine or handwashed in cold water, and air dried. Using any heat with faux fur will cause it to matt up permanently, so stick to cold! Once it’s dry you can shake it out to fluff it up.

Throughout most of the history of homebuilt aviation, used homebuilt sailplanes have typically sold for prices that, balanced for inflation, are lower than what the kit or materials would cost. I have a stack about 80 pages high of scripts for individual comics on my desk that I wrote out some time ago. I haven't written any in a while because I was so drastically outpacing the rate at which the strips were actually made. This discrepency in time has resulted in a fair difference in "the comic then" and "the comic now", so there's often little similarity between the initial idea and the finished product.
