Answer: The Pixoi images have a resolution of 300dpi, which is required for top-quality printing. For on-screen display the resolution is typically only 72dpi and this difference causes the images to appear very large on your computer display. For on-line and computer use, the lowest resolution images are the best option as they are already in right resolution. If one of your images is too large, you'll have to reduce it at source before you can download. You can do this via graphics applications such as "Paint" or another application of your choice and decrease the size. Save the photo and try to send it again. Repeat as necessary.

Answer: Disabling the CTC splash screen on the P9 PowerStation. This can be accomplished very easily with a few simple steps: On a P9 using the right arrow key move to the BOOT screen. Near the top of this screen, you should see the following setting BOOT-TIME DIAGNOSTIC SCREEN - DISABLE. On a PS Series you should arrow down on the Main Screen as this Bios scrolls until you see BOOT-TIME DIAGNOSTICS -DISABLED. Exit the CMOS settings by Saving and Exiting.

In the Screen Section of your XF86Config file (normally near the end of that file), you may see a "Virtual" keyword for every screen depth in that section. However, how large you can print a digital image will vary greatly on how you are outputting it, what your target resolution is and what kind of hardware you are outputting it with. The composition, sharpness and amount of detail in the image itself will also affect your output size.

Many times, when viewing an image from a photo CD or digital camera, you will only be looking at a small version of the true image (and not even know it). This will depend on the quality of the image. Be sure to check your viewing options on the photo editor you're using and set to "view full size" or set to view 100%. This will allow you to adjust the image size (crop and resize) according to the image's true scale before you save and upload to your web site.

However, if an enlarged printed version is required we would recommend an enlargement of no more than 130% (depending on the quality of the printer and printing material).

Each uploaded image is restricted to 250 pixels wide. There is no height restriction per se. However, if you make your photographs too high, the printer friendly version of your Family Calendar might not fit on one page. It all depends on what kind of printer is being used and the combination of how many family events and holidays you have on any given month.

To remove an item in Windows 98 and Windows ME, select the item and click Remove. If the installation asks you for the drivers, point the installation to drivers.
