The City of Lakewood's Weingart Senior Center is the hub of senior activities. It is located at 5220 Oliva Avenue, Lakewood. The Weingart Senior Center offers recreational activities for adults age 50 or older. Seniors, age 60 or older, can also receive low-cost lunches and more. The center offers an array of daily classes and programs. Participants can enjoy exercise classes, health programs, card games, billiards, dancing, lunch, arts and crafts, special events and more.

They vary. Many cruise lines offer excellent year-round programs, such as Norwegian Cruise Lines Kid's Crew program (children must be 3 years or older to participate). However, some cruise lines only beef up kids programming during the summer and school holidays.

Also we've found that some people like to turn the AC down really low, open all the windows, build a fire and then go outside. However with enough notification, during the off season months, we offer firewood for a charge. Just let us know the number of logs before you arrive. Nine of the district’s elementary schools operate on a year-round schedule. Students attend classes the same number of days annually as those on a traditional schedule, but their vacations are divided into three one-month segments during the year. Each school has four tracks of students. While three tracks are in school, one track is on vacation. This allows a campus designed for 750 students to comfortably house 1,000.

GOLF: Chautauqua's original golf course was redesigned by Donald Ross in 1924.
