Fuzzi Bunz were born out of Tereson Dupuy's need for a better diaper for her sensitive skinned, rash prone, baby boy. After an exhaustive search, and a disappointing trial period using the "best" cloth and disposable diapering products, Tereson decided to develop a diaper for her baby that satisfied them both. It had to keep her baby's skin dry, it had to be leak proof, and it had to be easy to care for, clean and use. The end result? Fuzzi Bunz diapers.

If soiled, simply knock solids into toilet. Small solids stuck to the fleece will dissolve in the wash. Use a mini-shower toilet attachment to rinse off soiled diapers over the toilet (optional). Third, if your hot wash is not automatically followed by a cold rinse, run a cold rinse cycle. This step only necessary with a particularly dirty load. Tumble dry the diapers in dryer on low or hang to dry. Do not use fabric softener or pure soap*. Never dry on high heat.

Stains can be caused by different foods, illnesses and medications. The good news is that stains do not affect the utility of your Fuzzi Bunz. To remove stains (if desired), we suggest laying them out in the sun for several hours at a time (several times for tough stains). Stains are not covered by our warranty.

When you first get your Fuzzi Bunz, try them on your baby for fit BEFORE washing. If they fit, yes, you should wash the diapers before wearing.

Leaking is often a result of repelling diapers. Repelling occurs when there is residue build up from soaps, detergents, ointments, or hard water that can build up on the fleece. This is (but not always) caused by improper care of the diapers. We recommend you do the following to resolve any repelling issues: Tumble dry the diapers in dryer on low or hang to dry. Do not use fabric softener or pure soap. Never dry on high heat.

Some babies wet more than others. If you are experiencing persistent leaking, we recommend adding more inserts to the pocket during nap and night time.

We recommend a few accessories to make your Fuzzi Bunz experience more pleasant. First, you may like a washable and reusable hanging diaper pail or diaper pail liner. Second, you may also opt to buy a mini shower toilet attachment (this hangs on your toilet and enables you to spray the diapers over your toilet as necessary). And third, we also recommend you purchase a wet tote, which is a small reusable and washable bag that you can store dirty Fuzzi Bunz in while on the road.

The detergent we recommend are Allen's Naturally, Charlie's Soap, or Ecover. Grocery store brands are fine, but you need to stay away from Free & Clear, detergents with bleach, or baby versions of soap. Please note that most detergents sold in health food stores are NOT suitable for Fuzzi Bunz because they use citrus oils as a surfactant - what gets stuff clean. Citrus oils will cause repelling because oil and water do not mix.

Yes, you can use flushable liners with your Fuzzi Bunz. Most of the time, however, bowel movements will fall off or can be knocked off the fleece. Some babies wet more than others. If you experience persistent leaking, we recommend adding more inserts to the pocket during nap and nighttime. We recommend switching to either a hemp terry insert or a prefold diaper to stuff inside your Fuzzi Bunz.

A. Exchanges are only done through Fuzzi Bunz retailers. Please contact the person from whom you received the gift and ask them to let you know what retailer they purchased them from and then contact that specific retailer for an exchange.

Yes, it is okay to use hot water to wash your Fuzzi Bunz, even on the hottest setting. However, keep in mind that you should dry your diapers on a low setting in your dryer.

Diaper rash ointments cause diapers to repel and not function properly. If you mistakenly get diaper rash ointment on your diaper, wash your diapers normally and then apply some dishwashing liquid, like Dawn, to the affected area. Scrub the affected area with a toothbrush or other bristle brush. While this is a suggested method, it may not always work. Diapers affected by diaper rash ointments are not covered by our warranty.

The Expect FAQ is regularly recreated by a Tcl script which produces either text or HTML depending on how it is called. Using Tcl has two nice results: I didn't have to choose one format and worry about converting it to the other. (Remember that the FAQ appears in HTML on the web and it appears in text in the Expect distribution.) The more common approach - doing conversions in either direction - is really painful - plus, it's now easy to generate other formats, too.

You can use a traditional diaper pail with a liner or we use one of the Wahmies All Day Wet Bags on the back of our bathroom door. They have a nice loop handle that allows them to hang right on the door handle. These wet bags have a waterproof pul lining that keeps dampness in. The zipper keeps smells inside and when the bag is full it's time to do laundry. During outings, we use one of the Jamtots zippered wetbags, they are the perfect size for daily outings.

Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers work much like a disposable, but, yes, you do have to wash them. They are a single use reusable diaper, which means you need to wash both the Fuzzi Bunz and insert after each use.

Fleece is a polyester material and polyester does not hold stains. Fuzzi Bunz also do not shrink due to this material unlike cotton diapers.
