The default behaviour of PubCrawler is determined by variables in a configuration file. Command line options offer the possibility of temporary changes. To find out, which options are available, have a look at PubCrawler's Technical Description or run PubCrawler with the '-h' option ('h' for 'help'): pubcrawler.pl -h

The Pigskin client is made up of two parts -- a "container" and a "module". The module is updated automatically by the Pigskin system when the client connects to a server. Each module version may have different options, so you can't determine which options are available to you until you connect and deteremine the version of the Pigskin server.

NOD32 v2.7 introduces two new command line options for the On-Demand Scanner, /UNWANTED and /ANTISTEALTH. Adding /UNWANTED to the command-line tells NOD32 to check the target being scanned for Potentially Unwanted Applications (or PUwA, for short). By default, NOD32 does not check for Potentially Unwanted Applications because they are a classification for low-risk threats. Adding /ANTISTEALTH+ to the command-line tells NOD32 to use Anti-Stealth technology when checking the target.

If you typically use the bsub command directly (rather than a command like bsas) you probably specify one or more options on the command line. If you run the same job over and over, typing the bsub command and it's options can be tedious. alternative is to create an LSF script file containing your commands and options. For example, you could include lines like #BSUB -q parallel #BSUB -m zephyr #BSUB -J myjob and so on.

If the number of parameters on the command line gets unweildy, pass in the location of a property file that defines a set of parameters. Alternatively, the JUnit-addons package contains the XMLPropertyManager and PropertyManager classes that allow you to define a property file (or XML file) containing test parameters.

On UNIX, run the command ps -deaf and the sever's command line options are displayed. On NT, as part of the NT resources file class is a utility called TLIST.EXE. Running this file for a particular process will show the command line options.
