The application process includes a player application and up to two recommendations depending on the outreach, one from a coach and the other a pastor. Once the game is released, our TECH team starts its arduous process of designing the robot. Our TECH team splits into design teams who each come up with a prototype robot. After some high level arguing, the three ideas are picked apart and a robot is designed that integrates the best parts of every design. In the following 5 weeks of the season, the robot is CADed (digitally made on a computer) and then physically built.

First, select a building lot if you don't already own one. Your builder can often help you find a lot and in many cases may own lots ready for your home. The site then needs to be excavated and a foundation completed (which your builder can do or you may do yourself). After the foundation is in, your home is built and delivered to the site.

No. The only time you would need to reregister is if you purchase a new computer, or the semester/session changes. If you sell your old computer, be sure you deregister your old system and have the new owner register in their own name. If you do not, they may continue to use your registration and you will continue to be billed for the charges. Each system is automatically de-registered at the end of each semester/session. You must reregister when you return for the next semester/session.

Move In Day is the Sunday before classes start. There are specific times that the halls are open for students to move in, generally these times are 9am-9pm for Fall Quarter and 10am-9pm for Winter and Spring Quarters. Specific up-to-date information can be found in the Moving In Brochure. Check in occurs at a disignated area in or near the residence hall you are assigned. Signs are prominately posted to show the way. Upon check in students will receive their room keys and information.

You should check with the front desk of your building to get the appropriate check out material. Follow all of the instructions carefully. If you are leaving mid year, it is recommended that you have your roommate sign a roommate release so you are not held accountable for damages that occur after you leave. You should also return bed parts and rented refrigerators or sign them over to a roommate.

Access to mechanical rooms is closely monitored. If you need access, contact the Customer Service Desk at 492-5522 to discuss your needs. They will contact the appropriate staff member to work with you to obtain access, if appropriate. If necessary, you will be assigned a key(s) that you will be responsible for returning. If your access needs are a result of contractual requirements with the University, you must work through the assigned project manager to arrange access.

While each residence hall has its own unique personality, every residence has laundry facilities and a vending area. Each room on campus is furnished with a bed, dresser, closet or wardrobe, desk and chair, lamp, trash cans, drapes or blinds, and shower curtains (where applicable). All facilities except the apartments have study lounges and a multi- purpose main lounge. Most halls also offer some type of common cooking facility. Cable television is provided to each residential room.

You will receive an information packet prior to the residence hall opening day. The packet will include useful information about campus and your building assignment. You will receive your room and roommate assignments upon check-in.

The PBCC sends applications to PennDOT in batches around the 15th and the 30th of each month. Once PennDOT receives an application it takes about 6 weeks until the license plate arrives in your mailbox. Why? Because these specialty plates are not pre-made.
