Enchanted Waters soaps are long-lasting (at least as long as commercial soaps) if you keep them "high and dry." You can use our "Natural Wood Soap Dish" to keep the bar out of puddles, and let it dry out between uses. The more it can dry it out between uses the longer it will last and the better it will feel when you use it. You can even alternate between bars to help keep one dry at all times.

Bear Valley bars use all natural ingredients and are not full of chemical stabilizers or additives, so they are stamped with a "best if used by" date which is four months from the date of manufacture. However, if stored in a cool, dry place, they will last well beyond this date.

If by some chance you do leave your bars in the heat for a while, there is usually no problem if slight softening does occur. Do not handle them, simply allow bars to harden at a cool room temperature. DO NOT FREEZE bars as it will cause the bars to turn white and powdery.
