We do not require a set number of credits to complete our PhD program, but certain prescribed course work must be completed. Previous course work may fulfill some of our requirements. A student's previous course work is reviewed by the student's advisor to determine whether it fulfills a specific requirement. We do not fund master's students. Not all PhD students are offered funding. Funding is based on merit not need. We offer 10 to 12 incoming students funding each year.

You first need to request your official transcripts to be sent by the previous institution to “Tidewater Community College, Central Records Office, 7000 College Drive, Portsmouth, VA 23703”. After being accepted into a specific program, you would complete an “Evaluation of Previous Educational Experiences” online form and submit it to Central Records.

All transcripts documenting quarter credits will be converted to semester hours. One quarter hour is equal to .67 semester hours. The transfer evaluation specialist will review these courses to determine how many credits will be accepted in transfer. Fort Lewis College does accept many Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate test scores. Check with the Registrar's Office for specific courses and accepted scores for credit.

No credits can be transferred, although some coursework can be waived (e.g., if a student has already had a graduate level statistics course). However, each student still needs 60 units to graduate.

Answer: You may request to transfer up to 9 graduate credits from an accredited university. These courses must have been completed within the past 10 years. Approval is determined after evaluation by the Program Director and the Assistant Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the School of Health Technology and Management.

General Education courses that match those in the program will be considered for transfer. All requests for transfer of these courses are subject to the deans' approval.

Charter Oak has a liberal credit transfer policy. We will accept most credits that have been successfully completed at other regionally accredited institutions. This includes up to 90 semester credits from regionally accredited, two-year colleges. Exceptions include courses in physical education, freshman orientation, and developmental courses. Yes. For the Master's Degree and Education Specialist Certificate, the College of Education may accept a maximum of six credits of graduate work from an accredited university. Certain conditions may apply. Transfer of credit to the Doctoral program varies based upon previous graduate work. In all cases, a Request for Transfer of Credit form must be completed and approved. Consult an advisor for specific issues in transfering credit and for the request form (see the last question).

No. Spertus requires that a minimum of 45 credits be registered and successfully completed through Spertus.

After you complete one year of coursework toward the PhD here at Berkeley, you may petition to have courses taken for the MA elsewhere applied to our PhD course requirements. You should be prepared to produce syllabi, exams, and papers so that equivalency can be established. Typically around two courses are transferable, but fewer may be accepted if equivalency is lacking.

All previously earned credits will be evaluated on a course-by-course basis to determine transferability and placement. Courses from New Jersey two-year community colleges have been evaluated and are available on http://www.njtransfer.org. Documentation of military courses and other training certificates that have been recommended for academic credit by the American Council on Education (ACE) may also be evaluated for transfer credits.

There is a good chance that some credit hours completed at other colleges/universities will apply to our program. Students transferring in credits from other colleges must have an official copy of the transcripts sent directly from that college to PBCC’s Registrar’s Office.

While it is possible for us to accept up to eight units of transfer credit, in most cases, students will still need to take the majority of the required courses in the list, regardless of the number of transfer credits they have.

In order for a degree to be considered as coming from a particular institution, half of that degree should be earned at the granting institution. As a result, the MAGL Committee maintains a transfer credit policy that allows for a maximum of 36 quarter units to be transferred into the 72-unit MAGL program.

No course work may be transferred from outside Northwestern University to fulfill MALS program requirements.

Individual participants must check with the receiving University to determine if credits will transfer. Students may count a maximum of 12 approved credits taken while not enrolled in the MPH program. This includes courses taken at UW-Madison while enrolled in another program. A grade of B or higher must be earned in the course being considered for transfer credit. Possibly, the course can be evaluated for transfer credit. Students may transfer in a maximum of 12 credits of coursework taken either at another university or at UW-Madison while enrolled in something other than the MPH program.

The State of Florida uses a common course numbering system, and OWC is part of this system. Through common course numbering the course numbers are the same at all Florida public colleges and universities. Therefore college credit courses are more easily transferable.

Yes. The maximum number of credits earned at another college or university that may be transferred into a graduate degree program varies, but in no case exceeds six credits.

Transfer credits cannot normally exceed one-third of the total credit requirements of our program. Typically, application for transfer credit is a separate process and is carried out only once an applicant has been accepted into our program. To have credits transferred from another recognized MBA program the grades obtained must meet our university's admission standards. Thus transfer credit is permitted only for courses in which the final mark is equivalent to a "B" or better.

You may transfer up to 42 credits of studio art into the Diploma program. These credits can include, but are not limited to, courses taken through our Continuing Education department.
