If you have adequate clearance, an attic crawlspace installation is similar to the drop ceiling scenario. Cut the appropriate sized hole in the ceiling material and finish the edges with the supplied trim. You'll need to use mounting hardware to support the weight of the unit from a suitable part of your building's framework.

Consider that if a sewer backs up in a dirt or gravel crawl space it is impossible to effectively clean it. Even removal of the gravel or dirt will still leave residual contaminants. Sealing the crawl space with a vapor barrier and laying a 4" concrete slab floor will result in no more sewage!

We consider an ABC concrete floor system a mini basement. Use your crawl spaces for storage as you would a basement.

Yes. The crawl space beneath a house is another place where ventilation is important. The crawl space can evaporate gallons of water each day. When you seal the crawl space, that water penetrates the floor above and causes more humidity problems in the home. Providing foundation vents in the crawl space reduces the humidity, and a vapor barrier (like polyethylene film) on the ground prevents moisture leakage into the house above. Be sure that attic or crawl spaces are properly ventilated.

The formula is internal cabinet length multiplied by(X) width X height, divided by 1728 (ex: 12 x 12 x 12 / 1728 = 1.0Cu. ft.)
