A ) There is only one legitimate release of YKTR on CD available. It has not been reissued by Atlantic in any way shape or form. Legitimate CDs will have clean, sharp artwork in the booklet and on the back cover. In addition, the legitimate CD will have "Y Kant Tori Read" in RED letters on a WHITE background on the spine. Also, the catalog number, printed on the spine, and the back of the legitimate CD is 81845-2, not 81845-1, which is the actual catalog number for the vinyl version.

For the reasons stated above, it costs a lot of money for us to make a good DVD, and we know Criterion discs are not inexpensive, but we feel they are a good value. If you can buy a Criterion disc at a price you think is absurdly low, it's probably not a legitimate disc. Also, a good thing to do is to make sure that the DVD's ISBN number, UPC code, and catalog number match those that appear on our website.

Bootleg recordings of Beatles material, which have proliferated recently, are illegal material. Buying them seems to be illegal, and selling them certainly is. Any illegal copy of any intellectual property which has a copyright held by a corporation or individual. In our case, DVDs.

A bootleg pin is one that is manufactured to look just like an authentic Disney pin, and it blatantly infringes on Disney copyrights and/or trademarks. It is made illegally and may bear a Disney copyright and other false information on the back (a backstamp). It will feature Disney characters and often it will feature Disney wording and fonts as well.

There are way too many to list here but of particular note are the CDs Live At Leeds Complete, the double set Merry Christmas Mr. Who, Toronto 1975, Amazing Journey (Amsterdam Concertgebouw, 1969), Fillmore East, Demos for Quadrophenia and most of the “demos” CDs and LPs in general (great stuff) as well as Tales From The Who and Charlton Uncut. They are cards made by other people, in the style of the 'official' cards. The official cards (#1-12) were made by David and first published here during 2000-2001. People have been sending the bootlegs (#13-) ever since, and we add them to the site too.

A#11.5: The only way to tell for sure what is in a library is to look at the symbol table. The most common way to do this is to get a listing by using Byte Works' makelib(1) utility, which comes with their various language packages (see the -D and -F flags). A comprehensive list of signs that indicate an illegal copy is not really possible. There is a large variety in the quality and type of illegal copies in the various arts and crafts industries. Most artists and designers want to present a professional and quality product and license other sellers who will do the same. Be suspicious if the quality is not what you expect.

If someone wants to make a copy of a movie poster and they do their very best, it will be very difficult to identify the fake, especially in this day of digital reproduction and vastly improved (and accessible) printing equipment. But one fact remains: Most One-Sheets produced before 1980 were FOLDED. Beginning after 1980 ROLLED One-Sheets became available. If its pre-1980 the poster will most likely have folds.

Some tables have a little "R" beside a planet that is retrograde. To organise this would involve a lot of reformatting for such a large Ephemeris. However there is a simple way of seeing if a planet is retrograde. If you look at the columns for the Sun, you will see that the degree numbers go upwards, (except when there is a change from one zodiac sign to the next). In the columns for the planets, the degree numbers sometimes go up and they sometimes go down.
