A lanai is the Hawaiian term for a balcony or patio. Our two bedroom condo has not only one lanai, but three. The lanai off of the living room is large and private and is equipped with a patio table with umbrella, 4 rocker-chairs, and chaise lounge. Both our upper and lower bedrooms also have smaller lanais located off the back of our condo. These lanais both have 2 chairs. Our one bedroom condo has two lanais.

Our condos are very convenient and close to the main pool at Maui Kamaole. This is the pool that you can see from the view on our lanai as shown in the panoramic picture on our web site. From our condos it's about a 30 second walk around the side of the building and across the little footbridge to the pool. Maui Kamaole also has a beautiful new second tropical pool area with waterfall that just recently opened. Pictures of it are also shown on our web site.

We liked Kihei Surfside and Kihei Akahi so much that we purchased units there ourselves. (You can read why we chose Kihei Surfside and Kihei Akahi in About Us.) Yes, our condos have a stereo that plays CDs and cassette tapes. We've also provided several Hawaiian music CDs for our guest's enjoyment.

Kihei (pronounced....Key-Hay) is on the south western sunshine coast of Maui. Our condo is just up the beach from the Wailea Resort. Wailea has five major hotels and three championship golf courses.

this time we provide several extras and will probably be adding many more as we make further trips there ourselves, and other guests leave behind items to share. Right now we provide Hawaiian music CDs, beach towels, beach mats, beach umbrella, children's boogie boards, a styrofoam cooler, iron, and an ironing board. In the kitchen, all pots, pans, dishes, and utensils are provided.

In general almost any service you might need - restaurants, shops, movie theater, video rentals, groceries, post office, urgent care clinics, pharmacy, dive shops, tour excursions, scuba/snorkel rentals, hardware store, etc. - can be found somewhere along South Kihei road within a few miles or our condo. Anything you can't find in Kihei, which is probably very little, should be available in Kahului or Wailuku near the airport.

The "Kihei" family of iMacs were available in six colors: Blueberry (aquamarine), Strawberry (pinkish-red), Tangerine (orangish-yellow), Lime (bright green), Grape (purple), and Graphite (gray), but not all models were available in all colors. The iMac "350" was available only in blueberry, the iMac "DV" (400) was available in blueberry, strawberry, tangerine, lime, and grape, and the iMac SE (Special Edition) "DV" (400) was available simply in graphite.

All condos have the same floor plan. If you don't require a second bedroom, simply leave the sliding louver doors open. The second bedroom now becomes an extension of your living area.

All units are air conditioned. Each condominium has a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, dishwasher, full size refrigerator with freezer, blender,coffee pot, toaster, pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishes, and flatware. Linens and towels are provided. Each unit has at least one color t.v. with cable service, ceiling fans, iron and ironing board, and a washer and dryer. The sleeping accommodations vary per unit, but most units have sleeper sofas to accommodate extra guests.

The residences are managed by a Homeowners Association. The Association will follow the same guidelines and have the same high standard of property management that Americans are accustomed to.

Young couples who want their own house but cannot afford one. Condo ownership brings them many of the advantages of home ownership without the steep price. A young single person who doesn’t want the maintenance responsibilities of a home or a landlord to deal with but does desire the economic advantages of home ownership. Older folks who no longer need their four-bedroom home and the maintenance problems associated with it.

Yes. Our lanai has a fine mesh screen allowing in the glorious Florida sunshine but keeps out those pesty bugs.

Generally, we will see dolphins on Lanai tour, and turtles on our Molokini Tour. During whale season, December-May, enjoy the dramatic antics of the Humpback Whales, too!

The Kihei Facility Project involves the renovation of existing facilities and the construction of a new multi-purpose building on the existing property to aid in meeting long-term facility needs of the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary headquarters in Kihei, Maui, Hawai‘i.

Guests should be aware that our Kihei condos are not childproof for young children, as there are a number of glass table tops, and breakable items at low levels. Also there is a stairway inside of our 2 BR condo leading from the main floor to the upstairs bedroom, and a railing in the loft area overlooking the living room.

Yes, there is a condo team that is working with identified condo owners in processing and assisting them through The Road Home. Due to the unique types of ownership, this team is the primary points of contact for condo owners.

We buy house, condominiums, townhouses, duplexes, triplexes, office building, beach property, land, farms, lots, apartment buildings and/or any structure that has a deeded lot with it.

We get this question a lot, but not sure why. Anyway, yes we personally own these condos. All we ask is that you take care of them as you would your own house. Please report any damages or items that are in need of repair to the front desk so that we can make sure they are kept in good condition for other quests. All of our condos are in the Ocean Walk Resort's "Condo Owners rental program". These units are managed by the Ocean Walk Resort's onsite Condo Owners Representative.
