Sound ratings, just like many other aspects of operable walls choices greatly depend not only on the room configuration, but how the room is going to be used. Speech privacy is achieved at over a 46 STC. That means that normal speech will not be heard on the other side of the panel. I think many well-meaning tobacconists do a disservice to the novice by suggesting a "mild" tobacco, especially an aromatic tobacco, to start with. I personally prefer rims that are the standard 11" because they usually have more ring than plunk. In earlier times the rims came in sizes that you wouldn't expect, running from less than 10 1/2'' to 12'' and more. Remember, that was the age of tom cat hides, flour pokes paper or whatever was available. Mylar and other plastics have replaced ground hogs and tom cats which has made a great difference in strength, stability and sound.

This depends on the banjo, the tone ring, the size rim and the sound that you prefer. I don't like the banjo heads that have a fiber layer over the mylar plastic layer. These heads tend to just dull the sound. ''If there is anything else available, I spit on the so called 'fyber skyn' banjo heads''. I prefer a banjo head that will let the banjo ring. Here's the problem: think of all the variables that are presented here.

The sound card should be General - MIDI compatible and should support simultaneous input and output, to enable listening to the metronome during rhythmic playing in. This is a matter of taste, of personal preference. Listen to the sound samples to find out what appeals to you the most. The most popular size of the traditional ocarinas is the alto size. It is more comfortable to hold than the soprano or tenor, if you have average adult-sized hands and fingers. Children would find the soprano more comfortable. The most widely recommended sound card is a Sound Blaster sound card, however, lately it has been found that the type of sound card has become less of an issue in later versions. Usually people can try the sound card that they have and if they have a problem they can either upgrade the sound card or use a USB headset.

If you play solo fingerstyle you may want a warm, rich sound with a lot of nuances (you may want a blended system). If you tap and incorporate body percussion sounds, you'll need a pickup that can pick up these sounds, either a sound board transducer or a system that includes a microphone. If you strum hard with a pick, you need a system that has lots of headroom, with minimal "quack". You might consider a magnetic, some under saddle pickups, or a soundboard transducer.

I don't consider myself competent to address specific cases, which would in any event depend entirely on the nature of your water supply and on what particular substances must be removed and to what levels. First find a shoe that is flat. A little heel is OK, but no lumps or bumps, toe grips, sunken heels, anti pronation and motion control devices. Get a flexible shoe that accommodates the natural motion of your feet. The mid-sole on many shoes are too rigid.

There are many size generators to choose from. Some do it yourself Bus friends have started with a lawnmower engine connected to a small alternator and produce 3kW. Then they move to a portable contractors generator you can buy at home depot. We've found over the years that a generator in a motor home actually runs more than any portable or contractor's generator. So when you pick a power plant, you want to pick one that's designed to run 24/7. The most efficient one would be a diesel.

We have always recommended PowerMaster fuels. We do this because this is the fuel we use, and believe that it has all the ingredients and quality you should expect. We test on 15% and use the synthetic/castor blend. We like clear fuels better than "dyed" fuels, but the dye doesn't really hurt anything. You should use what ever high quality fuel you are comfortable with. If you have never had a problem with your present fuel, then Jetts will not have a problem either.

Insurance while operating the motorcycle is mandatory and provided by MBA Insurance of Scottsdale at a cost of $15/day with a $1,000 deductible. The insurance covers theft, collision damage and liability in accordance with the state minimums of Arizona, Nevada and Utah. The $15/day is paid directly to MBA Insurance by credit/debit card at orientation. Other insurance such as Medical, Lost Luggage, Tour Cancellation or additional Liability is at your own discretion.

Remington STS and Winchester AA are the only types of ammunition we recommend. Hulls of lesser construction may bulge or stick.
