ASHS started the TDPT program in September 2002 and was the first completely online TDPT program. Since then, 25-40 students have enrolled each quarter. Maximum enrollment in any single quarter is 40 students. If maximum enrollment is met, students will be offered enrollment beginning the next available quarter. Admission is granted to those students who meet the admission criteria. Several have applied without the necessary grade point, acceptable baccalaureate degree, or U.S.

In each class, there are usually around 8-12 students. This will of course depend on the amount of students that want to learn a particular style. If there are an excess of students signing up for classes, more classes offering the style of dance will be added. If there is a minimal amount of students attending a class, either the class may be dropped or private lessons may be issued.

Yes. If you would like to take LTA 101 and another LTA class during your first quarter, you will need a permit from the Coordinator to get into the second LTA class. C.O.D. requires that any student wishing to register for 20 or more credits per quarter must have written permission from a counselor or Dean of their academic area. Given these limits, you may take as many classes as your schedule will bear.

A new class of generic students starts each Fall and a new class of LVN-RN Bridge students starts each Summer. Students entering in the Fall have five semesters of RNSG courses. LVN-RN Bridge students have only two semesters of RNSG courses after successful completion of the summer Bridge transition courses. Bridge students must be LVN's (LPNs) before starting the Bridge transition courses.

Teens are accepted on an on-going basis into the program as long as the space is available. However, teens must be accompanied by a parent.

Applications to the Full-time MBA Program are accepted each year for enrollment for Autumn quarter only. Autumn quarter begins in mid-September for incoming MBA students. We do not admit students for Winter or Spring quarter.

After making your classes available, it remains as available throughout the rest of the semester and for at least two weeks after the semester ends. Several times throughout the year, all classes for the past semester are made unavailable. If you want students to view the class material after it has been made unavailable, set the class to available as described in the previous question.

If you want credit for the course, you must take the course for credit and pay the same quarter. If, for some reason, you are not able to take a course in which you are interested, you can explore an independent study option on a similar topic with the professor of that course. For some reason there are students that add courses and never manage to attend the class. For those students, you will be asked in the first week or two of class to report them to Mary Wayland. BRCC is required by U.S. financial aid regulations to report all "never-attended" or "ceasing to attend" students. Mary Wayland will send out a memo asking you to report those students directly to her. Again, because of financial aid regulations, it is extremely important to send her this information.

No. Official transcripts are requested only once a year. However, unofficial transcripts are requested after every Quarter or Semester.

It depends on how much time you have available outside of class. A general rule of thumb is that for every hour of class time, you will need to dedicate 3 hours of time outside the classroom. If you take a 3 unit class, this would amount to 9 hours outside of the classroom each week. If you are working full-time, we recommend that you start off taking one class your first quarter. Most students who are working full-time will take 2 courses per quarter.

Students are accepted in Autumn Quarter only. We have a formal curriculum, and the courses begin in Autumn Quarter. Also, the financial support is available in Autumn Quarter for one full year, and this money is guaranteed only in Autumn Quarter.

One of the most difficult adjustments for students is managing their time. College is very different from high school, no matter how prepared a student thinks they may be. There are always difficulties with adjusting to their classes and the time they have to do what they need and want to do. It is important to be open to that.
