Any dog over the age of 7 months must be spayed or neutered. The main reason is that intact dogs are at greater risk of injury from other dogs. Yes, but it is important to inform your instructor. There are certain poses that are not suitable during this time and the instructor may give you some alternative poses during the class.

We offer both a Gentle and a Restful class taught by a licensed physical therapist for those that are looking to release stress and ease pain, but are concerned with the demands of a regular yoga class. If you do have specific issues, you must tell the instructor before taking ANY class. Depending on the teacher, they may not feel comfortable with your particular limitations--know that this is for your benefit. We also recommend you receive medical clearance from your doctor.

If you do not have prior yoga experience, our Intro Series or Gentle class would be best for you. Before taking any class, make sure you inform the instructor of your condition.
