DISCLAIMER: AutoAnything does not recommend removing dash trim kit pieces after install and will not be held responsible for any possible damage to your dash. While the dash kit piece is still warm pull on it (we do not recommend using screw drivers or any other metal tools - use your fingers and plastic objects). To get rid of any 3M glue residue, use a soft cloth. You may want to apply Bug and Tar Remover and gently rub surfaces where dash kit was attached.

We have some kits available as a supplement to factory installed wood trim. These additional pieces are made with what we label "factory match". These pieces add to but do not replace existing wood trim. It is important to note that these kits are manufactured to complement factory installed trim, not aftermarket trim installed for or by the dealer. If you are not sure if your trim is factory installed, check with your dealership.

With so many choices of wood trim kits and carbon fiber kits to choose from, selecting the right kit for your vehicle is a very important decision that can give your vehicle the exact look you are trying to achieve. The first decision is whether you want a Classic Dash Kit or a Molded Dash Kit. If you look at the two dash trim kits above you will notice that the kit on the left has a curve that wraps around the dash. This is a Molded Dash Kit.

Absolutely! These dash trim kits were made for you, the non-professional, to install. If you can lick a stamp and place it on an envelope, you can install a dash kit. There are no tools required, and you don't even have to lick the back of the dash kit pieces. Many team members at AutoAnything have installed their own dash kits and can testify that it is not difficult.

Yes you can. Keep in mind, most factory wood dash trims are molded so small areas of the original wood dash trim may be exposed.

A CD changer should be mounted if possible onto the center line of the car, this is where the CD player will get the least amounts of bumps, and less skipping too. The head unit should use the rail clip from the stock stereo. This of course requires you to take out the center console to unbolt the little nut behind the unit. It also helps to prevent a thief from taking your stereo unit.

Sponge the spill immediately with cool water and apply Stainoff as directed. May require two applications to completely remove stain.

Either of the two different Impala center consoles ('94 - '95 version and '96 version) can be modified to work. Center console coversion is included with the purchase of the kit, and includes a custom plastic insert and a 2001 Corvette leather shift boot. You mail your console out, and it comes back all converted, ready to bolt in. The result is a factory look.

The best way to care for your wood kit or carbon fiber kit is to keep it out of the sun as much as possible. AutoAnything recommends a UV Shield for the ultimate protection. If you do not have a UV shield, try park in the shade as much as possible. If you spill on the dash kit use a damp cloth and water to clean the kit.

If you can easily slide your finger on your dash and it feels oily that means you have a layer of armor all on your dash. It doesn't matter how strong of adhesive you have it will still not stick. Take a cotton towel with alcohol and deep clean your dash with it. Rubbing each part for 2-5 minutes. You'll need 10 packets of promoter and put a lot of promoter on the area where the dash pieces will be applied. Let it dry.

We recommend (and sell) an oil remover that is second to none (PURE). Spray or drip it along the hairline and wait for the bond to release before lifting the hairpiece. It will lift in a matter of seconds. SHOULD I START TO RELEASE AT THE FRONT OR BACK? Whichever you prefer. The Adhesive Remover prevents the new tape from sticking to the unit. Clean off the Adhesive Remover, (which is oil based) with alcohol. Then shampoo and condition and let the hair dry naturally.

AutoAnything is aware that many vehicles these days come with dash kits inside, but generally not as much wood or carbon fiber as our customers would like. We have therefore created "Factory Match" dash kits that are made to compliment the existing dash kit in your vehicle. We cannot guarantee an exact match due to the fact that not all trees look exactly alike, but they are extremely close and most customers are extremely satisfied with the match.

The 3M automotive tape does its job very well, and removal of peel-and-stick trim products may cause damage to auto paint if you are not careful. While installation of our Chrome grill inserts does not cause damage, removal may, in some cases. The plastic clips hold tightly, and may possibly cause paint chips when being removed. Some models have 3M tape to supplement the clips, and the same precautions noted above must be taken when removing the tape.

Our car interior and exterior trims product are designed to be permanent. It can be removed but you will need to install another trim on top.

Although color is a very personal thing, we do have general recommendations. Grey interiors look very sharp with a Rosewood Dash Color Finish, while Tan interiors are very well suited to the Burlwood Dash Color Finish. This is not to say that there aren't gray interiors that look amazing with Burlwood Dash or Tan interiors that don't look great with a Rosewood Dash. A popular option these days is the carbon fiber dash kit.

Step #1 With a flat screwdriver, gently pry the speaker cover off. It helps to cover the screwdriver(s) with masking tape to prevent scratching. Remove the three #1 Phillips head screws around the speaker. These are deeply recessed, and are not the three screws that hold in the speaker. Step #2 Pry open the small black screw cover near the chrome door handle. Pry from the front, this cover is hinged in back(I think!). Remove the black screw with a #00 Phillips.

A : For most residential applications, conventional methods of snow removal are acceptable (ie. shoveling or snowblowing). Care should be taken to make sure the skid plates are set to maintain a clearance between the snowblower and the bricks so as not to scratch the bricks. Please note, the use of heavy snow removal equipment may damage your brick or the installation. Ice melting chemical products which do not contain calcium chloride are recommended for use.

Depending on weight distribution, set elevator trim to zero to -2 for takeoff at 15-degree flaps. After liftoff and positive rate of climb, retract gear then flaps, and begin rolling trim downward toward -5. Initial climb out at 1280 RPM and 100% torque. Then, reduce RPM to 1210, torque to 92%. To level out, reduce power to 80-85 % and set trim around -6. Normal realistic climb-out is at 1900 FPM at 110 KIAS. Expect cruise at 180-185KIAS below 8000 ASL.

The donor car can be purchased new from M-Sport, at a cost of ?10,750. You may of course source your own donor car. The conversion kit costs ?9,100. You must fit all of the conversion kit to your donor car. If you choose a weld in cage option, and we fit this cage in the UK, there is a ?1000 extra charge. Other parts are available in the Options Kit, which you may choose to add to the basic Conversion Kit. All parts are listed on the website.

Since the file name begins with a '-' it looks like an option to the command. You need to force it to not look like an option. Put a ./ in the front of it. Or give it the full file name path. Or tell the command you are through with options by using the double dash to end all option processing. This is common to most traditional Unix commands. rm ./-stuff rm /full/path/-stuff rm -- -stuff Next: I have a file '-f' and it affects rm.

Yes. We do not want anything that we are not going to plate other than parts that have been hot melted to the core bezel. We cannot take responsibility for lost or broken parts if you do not disassemble before shipping.

Where it says "Add to Archive", type the directory Desktop or keep the same directory but CHANGE the FILENAME to base.scs not base.zip. Look down and it has Compression Options, its default is Normal, Look for NO COMPRESSION or STORE whichever one in the drop down box list. Copy the base.scs file to your "C:\Program Files\Bus Driver" folder and overwrite the original one. (Make a backup of the original first)

Yes!!! Most certainly the noise levels obtained from most car stereos can reach levels which are damaging to your hearing, especially with the windows up. Some "high end" car stereos can reach levels which exceed 130-160 dB's!!!!! Even short exposures can permanently damage your hearing. The best advice is to turn the volume down. Once your hearing is damaged (or you develop constant tinnitus) it cannot be repaired so the best action is prevention.

For disks that reside in an enclosure, use the Prepare to Remove task to locate the disk within the enclosure and deactivate it prior to removal.
