If you are prining a photo, send the file in JPEG or TIFF format. If you send the file in JPEG format make sure the resolution is set at about 300 dpi, so that the image will appear crisp when printed. B) If you are printing a logo, send the file in an EPS format if possible. If you send your file in EPS format, your logo will be crisp and clear, no matter what size you print it.

The bigger the better (within reason). RedBubble needs big, high-resolution original files to make fantastic prints. We prefer JPEG or PNG file formats, and don't accept TIFF or PDFs. If you’re uploading files larger than 20MB they should probably be compressed or scaled down a bit - we don’t print billboards yet! What matters most is the number of pixels of your image - file size (in MB) is not a good indicator of whether a file is suitable for printing.

A RAW file is best. If this needs to be compressed and you are asking what is the best file format to use, the first thing to mention is please avoid JPEGs as they are too lossy and leach out the very information we need to do a good job finding edges. JPEG2000's are better but PNGs are better still.

You may use GIF or JPG images with applets. I would be wary of using Animated GIFs or interlaced/progressive GIFs/JPGs.

Every digital image has a file extension. Pixeltrim accepts 3 types- TIFF, psd or Jpeg/jpg Different types of file extensions are used for varying applications. The most common file extension for digital camera images is Jpeg/jpg. If you submit your images for deep etching with any of the 3 file extensions we accept Pixeltrim will then be able to return each of the processed images with all 3 file extension free of charge.

The representation of the design must be filed as an attachment to the electronic application form and must be in the .jpeg data format. The maximum size is 2 MB per view. Each attachment contains one view. Attachments that do not comply with this shall be deemed not to have been filed.

Colour reproduction changes from screen to screen therefore the colours in the printed book may differ slightly to your digital photographs. Please use the RGB colour format to ensure that the colours will remain as close to your digital photograph as possible. If your photographs are in the CMYK mode, please convert them to RGB. You can use images saved in all established formats (BMP, JPEG, TIFF, GIF, PNG), however TIFF files with LZW-compression cannot be used.

The best formats to use are GIF, TIFF or JPEG (JFIF). Some other file formats are supported but provide no advantages over these three. The software we use does not support bitmap (BMP) files and if you upload bitmap images they will appear as garbage.

We use a NEW deep fibre method of printing where the inks are impregnated deep into the fibres of the canvas and is therefore ideal for stretching. Our process is NOT old fashioned common inkjet printing where the solvent ink is sprayed onto the surface and is left to dry meaning it is susceptible to cracking and cannot be stretched without disturbing the dried ink surface.

We print all of our business cards on high quality offset printing presses to insure the best product available. All of our letterhead and envelopes are also printed on offset presses. Some of our other products might by printed on digital presses to help keep your final costs down.

No. Many students choose to be creative with poster boards and construction paper instead of computer printing. Just make sure you follow the poster guidelines, include all the necessary sections, and ensure that your poster is legible from a distance of 4-6 feet away.

Tests have shown that images can be printed at much larger sizes, depending on the image type and screen ruling used. On composite inkjet devices, customers regularly reproduce our images on posters at A0 sizes and larger. However, you need to check the technical specification of your printer and the size of image purchased before proceeding. See our technical specifications for more details.

We prefer to receive photographic images as either tiff or eps, however we can work with jpeg as long as the resolution is at 300 dpi or better.

The data is saved using SQLite and is in that binary format. If you want external access to this data, we plan to export it as an XML file similar in format to the iTunes file but this has not been implemented yet.
