CityU past examination papers of the latest four years are kept in the Semi-closed Collection Room. Older examination papers are kept in the Library Archive and may be requested for use by users. The electronic versions of examinatin papers from 1996/97 onwards are available in the Library Catalogue. CityU staff and students may search, view and print the examination papers.

We do not publish papers as such – to do so would restrict our question choices in future years. You may distribute paper copies of the examination papers provided you have bought a copy of the CD-ROM on which all papers and markschemes from a single session are published. We ask that you keep control of the CD-ROM and do not release the electronic file of any examination paper or post it on any website.

No, past years' examination papers are never released and the FPAS syllabus will be changed constantly to meet changing market conditions. Therefore, the examination preparation classes conducted by FP will aid students in their preparation for the examinations as students will sit for a mock examination simulating the actual FPAS examination. The questions in the mock examination are prepared by FP's experienced lecturers.

CIE has a large number of candidates from all over the world. Hence it does not return scripts to students. Your centre will receive your results and arrange to forward them to you.

the CPE has been revised there are no past papers available but there are sample Reading and Use of English Papers on the Flo-Joe website in interactive format, which have been taken from the CPE Handbook. The Handbook also contains sample Writing, Listening and Speaking papers.

No, but you can ask to have your results checked within four weeks of the announcement of the results. Your score will then be checked again by a board of examiners, and you will be notified of the result. However, you are not allowed to look at your papers yourself.

The Library doesn't have past exam papers available, but you can buy them from the Open University Students Association (OUSA) - all proceeds go to OUSET (Open University Students Educational Trust). Examples of exam papers for the last 4 years are available for most courses. Papers are available for more than 90% of our past seminars, going back to 2000. Just fill in the registration form and tick 'I cannot attend but please send me the papers' and send it in with your payment and we will send you out a copy most times within a week.

No, since all examination papers are sent to Cambridge ESOL in the UK. The answer sheets and other materials which you filled out as part of the exam remain the property of Cambridge ESOL and cannot be passed on either to candidates, schools or examination centres.

Besides notes, assignments and past exam papers, you may have other reference materials for learners. You can upload these reading materials to the General Documents sub-section under the relevant course so that learners can retrieve them easily.

Use the Short Loans option in NEWCAT to search for exam papers. Choose 'Course' from the short loans search menu and type in 'examination papers - subject name' or 'subject name - examination papers' eg. 'chemistry - examination papers'. If the exam is available online it will have the notation 'Electronic copy available'. Please note that availability of past exam papers in the library is at the discretion of the lecturer/faculty.
