All home games are played at either Beverly Hills Park or El Franco Lee Park. Typically teddy bear teams are played at home but sometimes we partnership with an adjacent club and play games there. Older players play about 1/2 of the games at a home field and the remaining games at other clubs. Normally the travel time is 15 to 20 minutes or less. The farthest clubs are Galveston, Baytown and Crosby but it is unlikely you will travel that far.

Many of us like to role-play. We enjoy D&D, or Whitewolf's Werewolf: The Apocalypse, or live role-playing games. But we do not role-play on AHWW... we reserve that for groups where it's expected and condoned; like on a good MUD or FurryMUCK. We may talk about arcade or RP games that deal with shapeshifters, but we don't bog the group down with the minutia of rules and such: that's best left to groups like alt.games.whitewolf and the like.

Of course we have traditional phone lines, but to keep our costs in line we're set up to do our customer communication completely over the internet. This is our business model. We've spent our resources on a T1 line instead! Were very accessible, if you don't believe us, email us now and see how fast we respond. Many of our customers are overseas and wouldn't benefit from phone service anyway.

If you want to play a game not listed on the site, go post about it in the forums and I guarantee 2-5 people will say "I like that game too. I've been looking for people to play that with at a LAN." We list on the site what seems to be the most popular in the BASH office at UT, on the forums, and in our own personal gaming in the weeks leading up to a LAN party. Don't be discouraged if you see games you don't like.

Not at the moment. Since we don't always work as a translating team, the different members may work on different projects. If you're looking for older Atlus games, you might try Aeon Genesis, who has translated Shin Megami Tensei and is working on Shin Megami Tensei II. King Leo (Kya) is interested in possibly working on Shin Megami Tensei if... when it comes out for the PSX. As for Persona 1 - no, we will not be retranslating it. The Atlus USA release is a licensed, commercial release.
