God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God. Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like him in character. He is the supreme object of God's creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called "sin." This attitude separates man from God. Man was created to exist forever.

Beliefs", in this day and age, is simple mental agreement with an idea and no action. We, on the other hand, found that God the Father required action to the truth of his son Jesus Christ. Answer: Our small group leaders do the ministry functions of a deacon - caring for God's people. The word "deacon" in the Bible is the same word as the word for "servant," and that's exactly what our small group leaders are. Rather than meeting and making administrative decisions, our deacons are with people meeting needs every week. Deacons, likewise, are to be men worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursuing dishonest gain.

Anyone who has examined the evidence for the paranormal in detail is likely to come to the conclusion that the scientific evidence for the paranormal is slight, patchy and contradictory. There are very few undisputed facts in the field and even fewer generally accepted theories. Given this background, objectively there is precious little for anyone to 'believe' in.

Here are some foundational beliefs held by most lightworkers affiliated with the Honolulu Church of Light. Truth is what you know in your heart. When you read the words on this page, for instance, only you can say what is true and what is not because the only thing that matters is what is true for you. Nothing exists outside All That Is because it is All That Is. The Creator is the source of all Creation and It has but one purpose: to create.

I guess I get this one due to the subject matter of my stories. But to answer the question, due to my interest in other cultures/religions, I 'believe' in a lot of things. Answer: We do believe in God's power to heal. We practice what the Bible teaches in James 5. James talks about those who need healing in their lives and believe that it should be prayed for; that they should call upon the elders of the church and the elders will come and pray for that person laying hands on them and anointing them with oil. That is exactly what we do and have done hundreds of times here at Saddleback. We do not make a public show of our praying for healing.
