Is airfare or travel insurance included in the program fees?

However, through a special relationship Global Experiences has with STA Travel, one of the largest student travel organizations in the world, we are able to offer discounted travel arrangements for each of our program participants, including international airfare and travel/medical insurance.

While travel insurance is not compulsory to volunteer on our programs, we do recommend it. In case you fall sick and need doctor’s attention, we will take you to the hospital. We have good and reputable hospitals around where you can be treated.
