Matt Goyer 's blog - The completely egotistical storyline of...I use Radio Userland which publishes to my server. If you are a hacker who has a laptop that is occassionaly offline then get Radio Userland. Otherwise I recommend Moveable Type or TypePad.

If you want to learn how to use it, there're a lot of great tutorials online (picking up a book is a great idea too). One good site I'd recommend is actionscripts.org. For recording voices, I use Goldwave, but only because it was a free download and I'm not yet fed up with it begging me to register.
