For a light cleaning just use a broom, dust mop, or leaf blower. Simple ammonia water applied with a mop works great for a deeper cleaning. You’ll want to stay away from soaps because these leave a film, which, when wet, become very slippery.

Use the proper solid floor attachment for vacuuming. NO WAX! Do not wax a vinyl floor. All of our vinyl flooring contains a no-wax finish. The flooring is non-porous and will not absorb wax. It will build up and collect even more dirt.

We recommend using a non-rinsing cleaner that leaves no film. We suggest that you vacuum, sweep or dust mop more frequently. Wipe up food or other spills immediately using a non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth. You should NEVER USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS, POWDERS, OIL CLEANERS, WAXES OR DISH DETERGENT; this will scratch the surface or leave a film.

Yes, an epoxy floor is very strong and durable, but it can still be damaged mechanically or if the substrate (concrete underneath) were to be damaged. For example, if a heavy object like a sledge hammer were to be dropped on it or if you were to drag a heavy table with steel legs across it. An epoxy floor can be scratched just like regular concrete can be scratched. An epoxy floor will be very durable and last for years looking beautiful with reasonable care.

When the epoxy is still very wet, using warm soapy water will clean the majority of it off. It may leave a slight brown residue that will be removed when the floor is buffed during its final cleaning. Mechanics have learned that using Soft Scrub with a rag shortly after using the soapy water will remove the balance of the residue. It may dull the tile slightly but once again the final buffing will restore the gloss and finish.

It is very easy to clean a Pre-finished hardwood floor. Simply dust mop, sweep, or vacuum (vacuum should have rubber wheels so not to scratch the floor). In most circumstances you don't, epoxy that is coming off the floor is usually due to moisture failure or product failure. If it is due to moisture failure chemical flooring is probably not for you. If it is coming of due to Product failure the system may still need to be removed before a new coating can be applied.

We recommend mixing 5 ? 6 ounces of CLEAR ammonia per gallon of water in a mop bucket. A large headed string / rag mop works best, with a wringer mechanism on your mop bucket. For PremierOne Plus Fine Chip systems, we recommend hosing the floor with a standard garden hose with spray nozzle attachment, then utilizing a foam squeegee (available from PremierGarage) to remove the excess water from the floor.

Our mats can be washed with mild soap and water and hung out to dry to produce wonderful results. Do not wash the floor mats in a washing machine, it may damage the machine.

The surface layer of Pergo flooring is hard and compact, so dirt and dust do not adhere to it easily. DanceDeck and DanceDeck Deluxe are simple to clean. Use any standard no-wax vinyl tile cleaner on the vinyl DanceDeck. Use any standard urethane floor cleaner on the wood DanceDeck Deluxe. To eliminate scuff marks on both types of floor, use an SOS or Brillo pad and rub lightly.

Water and oil will bead up on your floor when sealed as recommended in our Installation Specification Guide. You need only mop it up with a sponge. For routine cleaning vacuum or sweep it, as you would any other natural stone floor or a wood floor. To wipe up, use a non-acid based cleaning product. Warm, soapy water is also fine. You can - but you will loose all adhesive strength. At cone 04 what you have left is a white brittle material that is the alumina and silica in the epoxy, left after the resins burn off. It is meant to be used as a post-firing repair material.

If the tile rocks back and forth, Penetrating Epoxy will work for that application. The epoxy can be put in a syringe and then injected. Drilling a hole in the tile is common practice for loose tile.

Clean or replace the filters. Hint: If you are picking up fine dust, the filter may look clean but a fine substance tends to reduce suction when it blocks the airflow through the filters. Check the tank. Be sure the lid is properly seated onto the tank. Empty the tank. Note: The tank should be emptied after each use or when dirt and debris build up within half the distance to the filter. This will optimize performance and keep the filter cleaner. Clean the cone shaped filter in the cassette lid.
