The PS Engineering intercoms are designed to accept a low-level ( less than 3 V P-P) audio signal, like the ones provided by portable devises. Car stereo headphone amplifiers are not referenced to ground, and our intercoms are, so the moment power is turned on, the output amplifier will try its darndest to find ground, even if it has to let the smoke out of components. We recommend using a "Line Level" output from the car stereo.

If your iPod has a Click Wheel and you've installed iPod Updater 2005-6-26 or later, you won't be able to do this unless you create a playlist of podcasts (in addition the special Podcasts playlist created for you by iTunes); then just listen to that playlist in your car.

In order to change the mode on your car stereo, and switch from Radio, to CD or any other mode, you will need to press the key on the right side of the deck. This key is named MOD, and by pressing this key repeatedly you will read the different modes you are switching to on the LCD display. Note: that if you are switching to CD mode there are actually 2 CD modes, one is for regular CDs and the other one is for MP3 CDs.

Some "high end" car stereos can reach levels which exceed 130-160 dB's!!!!! Even short exposures can permanently damage your hearing. The best advice is to turn the volume down. Sometimes, it is necessary to use your recorder's line-in jack to record. This is the case if you wish to use an external microphone with the Archos Jukebox, because this recorder has no microphone jack. Along the same lines, the Plextalk PTR1's microphone jack is mono, so if you wish to use a stereo microphone, you must plug it into the PTR1's line-in jack. The problem is that the expected levels for microphones are much lower than the levels for line-in.

in general, as long as you're within the weight limits of your crib ( check the owner's manual) my 4 yr old still sleeps/plays in the side car occasionally. I have even on a rare occasion found myself half sleeping in the crib- though I don't reccomend an adult sleeping in a crib, it has held my plus size weight, so I'm very satisfied our crib will hold my children as long as they want to be in it!

You will nott hurt our stereo intercoms (PM3000) or audio panels when you use a mono (1-channel) headset. The mono headset WILL ground out the left side of the audio. In the pilot or copilot positions, nobody will notice. Audio will be present in both ears. In any passenger position, plugging a mono headset will force any other stereo headset to become mono, too. Those stereo headsets will only her in one ear, unless they switch to the mono mode.
