Allied Sims or 'the Alliance' is a group of science fiction simulations that are related and use a common name and resources to promote themselves under.

In a nutshell Allied Sims has a flat command structure in that there are no "higher ups", so to speak. Each simulation has its own rules and is run by its own Sim Manager as they see fit. If there is a need for decision-making it is made by collectively by the Sim Managers. They all have a voice or vote in anything that will affect the group as a whole, and the whole process is transparent to all members and guests.

Stagecast sims cannot be played stand-alone. Users can either play the sims online using the free Stagecast Web Player or on their computer using the Stagecast Creator or Player application. If you have a web site, you can post your sims on the site with the help of the publish feature in Stagecast Creator. When users go to your sim's web page, they can use the free Stagecast Web Player to play your sim.

If you use Stagecast Creator to make your own sims using original content, then you would own the sims created (and the copyright). You may even sell your own sims made with Stagecast, without royalties.
