It is always upwards from 2.000 active members with new members coming in all the time and existing members leaving. We continually take on more people than we lose. We don’t aim to ‘collect’ members which is why we have only three month membership periods. We want to minimise the numbers of people who may have become ‘too busy’, or who may have ‘met someone’ without letting us know.

The Grapevine is a monthly pocket-size magazine published for members and friends who seek further sharing of A.A. experience. The only international journal of the Society, the Grapevine is edited by a staff made up entirely of A.A.s. Single copies of the magazine are usually available each month at meetings of local groups, but most readers prefer to receive their copies on a regular subscription basis. In the U.S. the cost of annual subscription is $15.

Time wasters are discouraged in every way we can. All personal addresses are held on record in strictest confidence (we're data protection registered - no. A business organisation? A government department? The CIA? A church? No, none of the above. Grapevine has won the confidence of many businesses, politicians, community groups and churches – but it is 100% independent, and has no formal connections with any of them. Furthermore, Grapevine’s not part of some giant publishing chain. It’s a one-of-a-kind, stand-alone, Kiwi-made effort.

Firstly, the Grapevine is for UNATTACHED people only – we don’t what anyone with a partner! Truly separated and living apart is OK Secondly, occupation-wise we have members from doctors and scientists through to unemployed people. Naturally, some occupations are more attractive where being chosen yourself is concerned. Thirdly, Grapevine works best for men aged between late twenties and mid sixties, and for ladies between early twenties and and late fifties.

All emails from members are answered promptly and matters dealt with immediately and personally, whether it is just a change in your profile or a problem of any sort. The well-being and happiness of our members is of paramount importance and we do everything within our power. Grapevine was first became known for transportation in 1888 when the Cotton Belt Railroad opened its railroad depot in Grapevine. Grapevine was a stop between Missouri and Fort Worth.

The Grapevine is a publication that is complied, edited, and reported for by parishioners. It is published four times a year and is sent to all registered households of the parish. No way! It’s a FAMILY magazine, plain and simple. And people who think (or wish) Grapevine is (or should be) ‘religious’ – or anything else it’s not – are usually disappointed. The Keepers of the Vine share a big concern for family life in this country. Grapevine is the only UK PERSONAL dating agency operating online. No members details are to be found anywhere online. The only way a member can receive other members' details is if it is emailed to them personally. This is intentional because members are accountable and they are traceable. Our home decor grapevine wreaths and swags are made of grapevine clippings from our vineyard in Benton, Illinois. After we prune the grapevines in the winter months we collect them and dry them. Each vine and swag is unique because in nature each vine is unique.
