Reflex Educational presently runs on Mac OS X only, although we expect broader support in the near future. For Reflex Studio Edition, tell us what you need and we can probably support you.

In general, any modern Unix-compatible platform should be able to run PostgreSQL. The platforms that had received explicit testing at the time of release are listed in the installation instructions. PostgreSQL also runs natively on Microsoft Windows NT-based operating systems like Win2000, WinXP, and Win2003. A prepackaged installer is available at http://pgfoundry.org/projects/pginstaller. MSDOS-based versions of Windows (Win95, Win98, WinMe) can run PostgreSQL using Cygwin.

GenePattern installers are available for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. GenePattern should work with any operating system that has a Java 1.5 virtual machine installed. GenePattern is known to work on the following OS platforms:

Spheritec Backup includes client and server software. The client software can be installed on any Windows 98SE, Me, NT, 2000, 2003 (.NET) or XP computer. The Spheritec Backup Client software communicates to the Spheritec Server using the TCP/IP protocol. The Spheritec Server software must be installed on a Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 (.NET) Server, and it must be accessible by the Spheritec Clients.

The server piece runs on WinNT/Win2000/WinXP and the client pieces run on all Win32 platforms. Windows 95 requires DCOM, which comes with IE4, IE5, OSR2 and later, or you can download DCOM as a separate download from Microsoft.

The primary target platforms for WebAuth development are Solaris and Linux, but the code should be portable to any Unix system. The modules make extensive use of Apache 2.0's APR libraries for portability. It has been successfully built on Mac OS X 10.2 (with a locally built OpenSSL, since the version that comes with 10.2 was still too old to support WebAuth). Currently, DataXtend RE supports Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, RedHat Linux, SuSe Linux and IBM AIX. For optimum performance, it is best for the Replication Engine and the database engine to reside on the same computer. Alternatively, you can run the DataXtend RE (Replication Engine) on a separate computer from your database server. Since .NET does not run on WIN95, therefore, our linker does NOT support WIN95. Our linker currently does not support UNIX systems.

HaleyRules, our rules inference engine, runs as a component within your application. Versions of HaleyRules are provided for both the .NET and J2EE environments. In addition, the .NET version of HaleyRules (implemented in C for optimum performance) can be used transparently from within a Java application. Many customers choose this implementation to harness the performance advantages of C at rule execution time. HaleyRules Web Services is currently available for Java implementations.

DeviceWall works with the most common enterprise IT operating systems – Windows NT4, 2000, XP and 2003. DeviceWall does not currently support earlier versions of Windows or non-Windows operating environments. DeviceWall supports both Active Directory and NT Domains.

Most of Jove is written in the Java 5.0 language, and should therefore work on any platform with a Java 5.0 JDK. Specifically, Java-only behavioral simulations should work on any Java platform. However, the Verilog simulator support is written in C++ and therefore tends to need tweaking to work on new platforms. The table below lists platforms that Jove has been tested on so far.

BoxCloud has been tested to run on Windows XP and Mac OS X 10.4+. While other versions of Windows and Mac OS X will probably run BoxCloud just fine, we are not able to officially support them today.
