The platform I currently use for development runs Windows XP Professional with cable broadband provided by my local cable company. Photographs are taken with Canon digital EOS300D camera and images are scanned using a CanoScan LiDE 50. My monitor is a 19 inch Samsung SyncMaster 959NF and is typically set to display 1280 x 1024 with 32 bit colour but can do 1600 x 1200 for games playing.
