Both are 100-item multiple choice tests of listening and reading. They are constructed using the same test design, but different items. The major difference is in degree of control; as noted above, the ECL can be handled only by US citizens who are employees of the US Government.

If you have blood work done at Shepherd Center, we automatically call you if you have any abnormal results or if an action needs to be taken because of the results. Due to the volume of calls we are required to make, we do not call patients if their results are "normal." The Berard audio testing requires a mature level of concentration and communication. The audio testing provides information that is used in selecting whether a narrow band filter is needed during the training sessions, and therefore, must be accurate. For these reasons, Dr. Berard does not recommend this testing for children under 5 years old.

We will evaluate you based on the various skills you feel are your strong suits. Our testing systems are helpful for you to identify where you may need further study in your skills and what areas are your strengths.

You must first take a knowledge test that covers subjects such as vehicle control, inspection, and cargo. Next, you'll take a road test and pre-trip inspection, which are offered together in order to evaluate your ability to drive safely. You must provide your own vehicle for these tests. Finally, you'll take a basic control skills test to evaluate your basic vehicle control skills.

ECL is an abbreviation for your Emergency Contact List, which is a list of the individuals we are to contact in the event of an alarm. Typically these individuals are authorized to make decisions concerning your alarm system. They may be asked to meet the fire or police department on-site following an alarm. The risks of breast and cervical cancer increase with age. Women over 40 should have a mammogram every year and a Pap test every one to three years.

Patients with new onset or suspected heart failure should have a history and physical exam, lab tests (chemistry panel, CBC, Urinalysis), electrocardiogram (ECG) and chest x-ray. These will determine if the presentation fits the diagnosis of heart failure. Practice papers for the verbal reasoning test can be purchased from the school office or from large stationers or online retailers (NFER Nelson multiple choice "Verbal Reasoning Topic Pack" ISBN Number 0 7087 03860). The Mathematics paper is based on KS2 work done in Year 5 and the beginning of Year 6. The school does not provide a practice paper but a leaflet included in the Prospectus describes the types of questions that may be included.

Student pilots have to pass a pre-solo written exam before solo, a private pilot written exam (FAA), and a practical exam (flight test).

Regulations specify that the ECL can be administered to a student only once a month. More frequent administrations to the same person may reveal seesawing scores that result in frustration, or improved scores that reflect test-wiseness rather than an actual increase in proficiency. Answer 9: All applicants for Provisional certification (excluding Special Education fields) must satisfy the Praxis I and Praxis II assessments applicable to their field of certification. Individuals applying for Professional Clear Renewable certification may be required to pass the Praxis II assessment(s) in their field.
