Left without treatment, pus builds up at the root tip, in the jawbone, forming a "pus-pocket" called an abscess. An abscess can cause damage to the bone around the teeth.

When kidney function falls below a certain point, it is called kidney failure. Kidney failure affects your whole body. It can cause serious heart, bone, and brain problems and make you feel very ill. Once you have kidney failure, you will probably have two choices: start dialysis or get a new kidney (transplant). Both of these treatments have risks and benefits. Talk with your doctor to decide which would be best for you.

Iron overload happens when too much iron builds up in the body over time. This condition is called hemochromatosis (HE-mo-kro-ma-TOE-sis). The extra iron can damage the organs, mainly the liver, heart, and pancreas. Many problems can cause iron overload. Most people with hemochromatosis inherit it from their parents. It is one of the most common genetic (runs in families) diseases in the United States. Some other diseases also can lead to iron overload.

A doctor will examine the person. It takes two doctors, one of whom must be a psychiatrist, to certify that the person is mentally ill and requires hospitalization. If a doctor feels the person is in need of inpatient treatment, Common Ground will transport the person to a local hospital for another evaluation (by a psychiatrist-MD). We encourage you to send your child to school even if he/she seems a little tired or irritable in the morning as long as they do not have any of the signs or symptoms listed above. To reach the "on-call clinician" after hours or on weekends, call Public Safety and ask to speak to the on-call clinician. Public Safety will page the on-call clinician, who will return the call to the student and advise them accordingly. There are hospitals and urgent care facilities within a couple of miles from the campus.

It all depends what happened. If your little nephew took a knife and ran down one of the sidewalls you will be responsible. If somthing happens during a storm then you are not responsible. We trust or customers will keep our equipment in the condition they got it so that many other people can enjoy our services.

We always observe pets carefully for signs of illness. In an acute emergency, we will transport your pet to the veterinarian immediately. Otherwise, we will call you first. At the interview, a form is completed giving us permission to have your pet treated by your veterinarian. In case we cannot reach him/her, we have a vet-on-call that has an ongoing relationship with us of 17 years duration. There are local emergency clinics in Rockville and Hyattstown that can be reached 24 hours a day.

All packages are covered against loss or damage so you don't ever have to worry about not getting your medications. If your package is lost or damaged, we will resend them to you.

First, your student's PA should be notified so that he or she can take appropriate action. If the Radiant multi-Layered pipe is damaged, it can be restored to its original state by carefully reshaping the pipe with smooth jawed grips to regain the original dimensions.
