When you add a relative's name to your tree, you also have the option of adding their email address. If you do, we will email that relative to join your tree. Your relative see the same tree as you, but focused from their point of view. The relative can then add other relatives, and so on. Your tree will continue to grow as relatives invite other relatives.

While you can always send individual e-mail invitations, the http://groups.yahoo.com/ system allows you to send a note that has all the information about the group and allows the invited guest to simply select "reply" to subscribe.
