While Outlook supports the generic POP protocol, MIT uses a more secure version which incorporates the Kerberos authentication system. This protocol is often referred to as kPOP for short. Outlook does not support Kerberos authentication or kPOP. In outlook, create a new account, use mail. yourdomain.com for both Incomming Mail POP3 and Outgoing Mail SMTP.
