We work very hard to schedule our league between the two sports. Our practices start in December after the AYSO season is over. Since our season is completed by the last weekend of February, we are done before spring soccer starts and before baseball tryouts. This is based on last year's schedule and current information we receive from those leagues, although we cannot control what these sports do this coming year. Absolutely not. They protect a child's teeth, lips, cheeks and gums from sports-related injuries. Any mouth guard works better than no mouth guard, but a custom-fitted mouth guard fitted by our doctor is your child's best protection against sports-related injuries.

One of the goals of the Challenger program is to be as flexible as possible in order to make the experience a positive one for each player. Most of the athletes in the junior (younger) division hit the ball from a tee when batting; the majority of the senior players hit pitches thrown by an adult. However, we try to accommodate to each child's skill level and encourage players to bat in the way they feel most comfortable.

When you attend you must specialize in one sport, baseball, basketball, or soccer. The programs are set up so each day builds upon the next. Each sport is run independently of each other.

Of course. Would a fun guy get braces if he could not play? You can still play football, baseball, basketball, soccer. You can still go bowling. You can still do everything. Just wear a mouthguard, and try to not get hit in the mouth. We recommend that you avoid sports where you will get hit in the face. Fighting, boxing, wrestling, karate, can be very painful when you have braces. Guy Funi points out that it hurts when a snowball hits your face.

To play in the Fall season your child must be 4 on or before July 31st of that season. To play in the spring season they must be 4 on or before December 31st of that season.

Your child must wear shin guards to all games. Players are not permitted to play without shin guards. Rubber cleated shoes are desirable but not required for outdoor soccer. The grass tends to be slippery during the outdoor games in the fall, and many children find that rubber cleats are very helpful during the outdoor games. HSA suggests that parents consider having their children wear a properly fitted mouth guard during practices and games.

Uniform orders take 6 to 8 weeks. Teams must be formed before the order can be placed. Additionally, the paperwork to handle insurance, team roster and scheduling is monumental and takes time.

The Crossfire Premier soccer program provides training and development to qualified players to assist them in advancing to play at the highest levels of play available. Many high school and college teams are chiefly comprised of players who have demonstrated their ability through Advanced Development Programs. If your child has progressed through recreational soccer and wants to take their game and skills to the next level, Crossfire Premier Soccer Club can take them as far as they want to go.

El Dorado Hills Little League tries to accommodate parent requests for our T-Ball, Coach Pitch, A and AA divisions. AAA and above are 'draft' level divisions, and this limits what we can do to accommodate requests. EDHLL will try to honor coach and carpool requests, but there is no guarantee.
